Pleasant afternoon walk with my dog after 2 day grandparent duties

Not so beautiful sky or temperature for a casual afternoon walk with my blue cattle dog rottweiler cross dog Jacob who missed out on his walk yesterday because grandchildren had a sleepover. He always stops and looks at birdlife and surprisingly we saw a pelican and a comorant during our walk. The dull weather didn’t deter him from “watering” the foreshore plants many times and making sure I used the poo bag and reading the "dog internet" news from yesterday
