Amazing how the strong gusts can deliver beauty on a day.

I will also show you some high flyers in the second half of the post.

Now if you don't think this is beautiful, then you will need to go and see a psychiatrist:) Only joking. But yeah, some of the shots took my breath away, or maybe the strong winds blew my breath away. Just some idle chatter to try and get a smile somewhere, as even though the wind made things a bit difficult, especially when it comes to keeping my hand steady with the camera, it was all so worth it.

During my young days, I never ate breakfast in the mornings, and only much later in life, when I married my new wife, she insisted that I have breakfast in the mornings, and so it was to be. The problem that I have with this is when I, inadvertently, skip breakfast for an urgent meeting, then I start to get the shakes in my hands and dizzy in my head. Now, I don't know if this is normal but as soon as I eat something then it stops.
In any case, come and see what I have to share.

Of course, I have to show you the skies and the wind playing with the clouds.

Two shots below that I took near our home.

And then, this final shot that matches the first two pictures.

Now, let me show you the high flyers below.

Like I said before, the Pied crows really enjoy the strong winds.

They flitted playfully all over the sky above our home.

For some reason, my camera changed the colors of the sky when the crow came a bit closer down.

See what I mean?

And finally, here again, the color is different. Maybe there was water in the air.

We had a warning that it might rain, but it did not rain, and by late afternoon at sunset time there were no clouds in the sky anymore, as the winds cleared them out. The gale force winds are set to continue for the next three days, and the worst one is the South Easter wind, as it is known as the Cape Doctor. It is said that it blows all the germs and chemicals in the air into the Atlantic Ocean. Whether this is true or not I don't know, but I can tell you that wind is so strong that it flips over big trucks on the highways.

There are many videos on YouTube that will show you all about the strength of the South Easter wind, some videos are also funny, especially when they feature how the wind can slow down, stop, and even reverse pedestrians walking around. They call it 10 steps forward, and 15 steps backward:) We even feel the wind rocking our car when we are on the road, but as I always say; Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
