Te da mucha nostalgia recordar aquellos tiempos en que los veías a diario, y ahora, con los horarios tan diferentes, el tiempo es tan limitado que es difícil acordar un encuentro... Esta vez, decidimos no darle muchas vueltas y simplemente fijar una fecha para vernos. Pero claro, esta ocasión merecía una pijamada, así que mi amiga Michell y yo viajamos a una ciudad a 15 minutos para ver a nuestra amiga Michelly (sí, tienen nombre similares 🤭).

It's incredibly wonderful when you finally get to reunite with your friends again. It makes you feel so nostalgic to remember those times when you used to see them every day, and now, because of everyone's different schedules, time is so limited that it's hard to arrange a get-together... This time, we agreed not to overthink it and just set a date to meet up. But of course, this occasion deserved a sleepover, so my friend Michell and I traveled to a city 15 minutes away to see our friend Michelly (yes, they have very similar names 🤭).

Quedamos en que sería durante el fin de semana, ya que todas trabajábamos y teníamos muchas ganas de pasar mucho tiempo juntas para ponernos al día, y créeme, eso llevaría tiempo 😂. Decidimos recordar viejos tiempos y hacer una pijamada, así que ese día, después del trabajo, mi amiga Michell y yo emprendimos nuestro viaje corto a la otra ciudad donde nos estaría esperando nuestra amiga. Nuestro plan era simplemente pasar el rato sin preocuparnos por nada y sin planear demasiado, ser espontáneos y hacer lo que se nos ocurriera en el momento. En un instante, estábamos juntas, y no podía creer que finalmente nos hubiéramos reunido. Aunque faltaban más amigas, evitamos pensar en ello porque no queríamos que la reunión fuera nostálgica, así que nos centramos en disfrutar el momento y pensar en qué haríamos ahora que estábamos juntas.

We agreed that it would be during the weekend since we all work and really wanted to spend a lot of time together to catch up, and believe me, that would take time 😂. We decided to reminisce about the old days and have a sleepover, so that day, after work, my friend Michell and I set off on our short trip to the other city where our friend would be waiting for us. Our plan was just to hang out without worrying about anything and without planning too much, to be spontaneous and do whatever came to mind at the moment. In no time, we were together, and I couldn't believe we were finally reunited. Although more of our friends were missing, we avoided thinking about it because we didn't want to make the gathering nostalgic, so we focused on enjoying the moment and thinking about what we would do now that we were together.

A mi amiga Michelly le encanta el helado, así que, por supuesto, su idea de un plan perfecto sería ir a una heladería a unas cuadras de donde estábamos en ese momento. Al llegar, pedimos nuestros conos y nos sentamos a disfrutarlos y a comenzar nuestro viaje en el tiempo para ponernos al día. Al terminar el helado, decidimos ir directo a casa de nuestra amiga para continuar nuestra conversación en un ambiente un poco más fresco. Hablamos tanto que nos dimos cuenta de todo lo que había pasado en nuestras vidas y, como estábamos todas tan ocupados con nuestras tareas diarias, no habíamos podido sentarnos a conversar. Además, los tres coincidimos en que hablar por teléfono no es lo mismo que estar en persona y poder experimentar la emoción de cada anécdota. 😂

My friend Michelly loves ice cream, so of course her idea of a perfect plan would be to go to an ice cream shop a few blocks away from where we were at the time. When we arrived, we ordered our cones and settled in to enjoy them and begin our journey through time to catch up. When we finished our ice cream, we decided to go straight to our friend's house so we could continue our conversation in a slightly cooler environment. We talked so much that we realized how much had happened in our lives and, since we were all so busy with our daily tasks, we hadn't been able to sit down and talk. Besides, the three of us agreed that talking on the phone is not the same as being in person and being able to experience the emotion of each anecdote. 😂

También conocimos a la mascota de mi amiga Michelly, una hermosa pitbull, cariñosa y afectuosa como ninguna otra perra que haya conocido. Siempre estuvo a nuestro lado, como una amiga más. De las cosas que más disfrutamos en la vida, siempre queremos capturarlas para preservar el momento para siempre, pero a veces nos enfocamos tanto en vivirlo que nos olvidamos por completo de la tecnología, y eso fue lo que pasó esta vez. Hay pocas fotos que tomamos, pero las atesoro con todo mi corazón porque fue un reencuentro que necesitábamos y lo disfrutamos mucho. Acordamos tener estas reuniones al menos una vez al mes para no dejar pasar tanto tiempo sin volver a vernos. 💕

We also met my friend Michelly's pet, a beautiful Pitbull who was loving and affectionate like no other dog I have ever met. She was always by our side, like another friend. Of the things we enjoy most in life, we always want to capture them to preserve the moment forever, but sometimes we focus so much on just living it that we completely forget about technology, and that's what happened this time. There are few photographs that we took, but I treasure them with all my heart because it was a reunion we needed, and we enjoyed it very much. We agreed to have these get-togethers at least once a month so we wouldn't let so much time pass before seeing each other again.💕
