HOPES FOR 2025

Since the start of December till now, I have written plenty of posts about Christmas celebration. It has gotten to the extent that my hands ache and my head can't think of anything about Christmas again, and I'm really getting pissed because I did not actually spend Christmas with family or friends, but I spent it in a hospital, where I was taking care of my patients. I'm not angry about this fact, but I'm pissed because I have to write it more than twice in different post. Haha.

Thankfully, there is this prompt that asks us to talks bout' the new year. I think the I'm getting a little relief. Haha.
2023 was a year that boxed me without a boxing gloves. No caps, it was like I am playing hunger games, without knowing where or when I'm going to get hit by an arrow.
The plans I made, welp, though I achieved a handful of my goals, the declining economy of my country made it really hard to accomplish the rest, as they were financial goals.
The removal of fuel subsidy affected everything in my country, this year - 2023. Price of goods went high, transportation was really expensive, and worst, the exchange rate of Naira to Dollar increased rapidly and there was nothing we, the citizens could do.
Though I had failed plans, sad days, and a part of me is actually filled with regret for not doing what I'm supposed to do, the year is over, and, there is nothing i can do about it. However, what I can do is to move on to a new year.
Yes, a new year, but unlike last year, I am not starting this year afresh without and experience, or capital. Unlike the begining of last year, I have almost time 5 of what I used to beging last year, both in terms of finance, experience and welp, petty investments. Lol, it's still petty, but soon, I will make it grow.
WELCOME TO MY 2025
In the blink of an eye, 2025 is here, however, what are my hopes for this year? If you may ask?
Welp, I have many hopes for this year.
SCHOOL
The first thing I want to do in January is to go back to further my education.
Growing up as a kid, mama told me many things she passed through in life before becoming what she is today. She told me that all she wanted for me is to be able to make massive legal money with my pen. I paid no mind, but now, I actually realize that, she wanted me to reach the highest level of education there is.
Education is the only way for me to accumulate money for the investments I wish to make in life. I don't plan to work a 7am - 2 pm shifts for the rest of my life.
After I further, I will still go back to school, just like that, until I get the highest level of education, and at the same time, build my passive income to the highest level there is.
MORE INVESTMENTS
So far, one thing I have come to realize is that, there is money in agriculture. A lot of money is in there, of you play your cards well.
I don't really know much about agriculture, but welp, this year, I will know more about it and invest in it. I plan to invest in fishery, and in tuber crops. With a good strategy for planting and raring, I believe I will come out on top.
I also want to invest in another business, but I don't actually know what. I'm still thinking about it, and asking questions here and there.
I don't want this year to finish without me getting enough funds to start my real estate journey by 2026.
These are the three major things I hope to accomplish before the half of 2025. Further education, and agriculture; fishery and planting tuber crops.
