El Crespón pinta de fucsia y rosa, mis caminatas diarias/Crepe paints my daily walks in fuchsia and pink.

Durante mis caminatas diarias, he descubierto una de las flores más lindas que un arbusto puede hacer brotar. Esa es la flor del Crespón, o Árbol de Júpiter. Resulta que casi todas las calles del sector donde está mi residencia y sus alrededores, fueron plantados hace tiempo, para que personas como yo, que pasamos a diario por las aceras y casas, disfrutáramos de tanta hermosura.

Les presento una muestra de varios arbustos que mientras caminaba, hacía una parada para fotografiar a esas hermosas flores rosadas, fucsia y una que vi de color blanco. Al pasar a su lado, solo se veía a las abejas extrayendo el rico almíbar de los bouquets de las flores del crespón.

Como se aprecia, elegí de cada árbol una de sus flores más tupidas, y se diferencia una de otra por su color y tamaño. Capturé unos arbolitos que están en el Parque La Estación, sembrados en hileras para dar ese toque especial a los jardines y espacios de recreación con que cuenta este gran parque.

El árbol del Crespón, o árbol de Júpiter, es una especie originaria de países asiáticos. Acá en Argentina, esta especie abunda, y lo que me enamora de ella es que florece justo en plena época de verano. ¡Parece mentira! Su flor es muy pequeña, pero crece pegada con el resto formando una especie de arbolito o bouquet tupido, que es lo que da vida a estos arbustos.

Por cierto, mientras pasaba por el frente de una casa, donde había un Crespón, una señora salió alarmada al ver que estaba tomando fotos a las flores. En seguida me preguntó si quería algo de ella, o de su planta. Es decir, ella pensó que yo le iba a quitar una rama. Pero yo le expliqué que me gusta tomar fotos a las flores y se retiró, conforme y tranquila… Aquí los residentes, son muy celosos con las plantas decorativas que tienen en el frente de sus casas.

Bien, les cuento que el Crespón, tiene un fruto, y es parecido a una cápsula, como un globo,llega a medir entre hasta 12 mm de diámetro. Lo pueden detallar en cada racimo de flores.

Los colores de cada racimo, son de un fucsia, o rosa, uno más hermoso que el otro. A pesar de que sus flores son mínimas, al mirar el conjunto de ellas cuando se convierten en ramales en los arbustos, se presenta la magia verdadera para nuestros ojos de mirar incrédulo por tanta belleza. Si alguna vez tengo una casa con terreno, pues, sembraré el Crespón en todos sus colores. Sería para mí, un gran regalo.

Esta hermosísima rama, la capturé mientras pasaba por la acera del frente. Solo que tuve que cruzar, para poder llevarme el gran regalo y ver que las abejitas también estaban haciendo su trabajo, y muy felices.

Los Crespones del parque La Estación, aún están pequeños, sin embargo, están floreciendo y algunos tienen sus copas llenas. Solo les falta el desarrollo completo de cada ramaje lleno de flores y frutos para que se produzca el milagro del Crespón. Podemos apreciar que fueron sembrados en hileras para que formen parte de la bella decoraciónn que tiene este Parque.

No puedo dejar de reseñar, que el hermoso árbol Crespón, tiene otros nombres también como: Espumilla, Júpiter, Lila de las Indias, Lila del sur o crespón. Este árbol puede llegar a medir hasta ocho metros de altura. Cada una de sus florecitas tiene seis pétalos, y es rizada. Otros datos científicos, a continuación.

Estos dos arbolitos los encontré en otra vereda, lo que me gustó fue que no solo había uno de color fucsia, sino que estaba uno blanco, pero con pocas flores aún.

Acá podemos apreciar este ejemplar, cuya característica principal son sus flores. Está completamente lleno de hermosos racimos de color rosa. Quise hacer la foto desde la acera del frente, para poder visualizarlo en todo su esplendor. De este árbol, fue que obtuve las primeras flores de esta publicación.

Esta es una hilera de tres crespones, con algunos racimos de flores, pues están en pleno desarrollo. Como muestra, basta visualizar la calle y como los crespones están brindando belleza a mis caminatas diarias y eso me encanta.

Otra muestra de que en las aceras del sector donde resido, solo están floreciendo los Crespones. Yo lo celebro, pues dentro de pocos días se van a ver mucho más hermosos colmados de colores rosa, púrpura, fucsia y blanco. Será un espectáculo solo para mi disfrute.

Finalmente, el día de hoy, cuando salí a mí caminara diaria, pasé por una vereda que no conocía y me encontré con estas bellezas. Pueden ver claramente que las hermosas Flores de Júpiter o crespones están en su plena floración y desarrollo en el municipio Avellaneda, de Sarandí, en Buenos Aires.

During my daily walks, I've discovered one of the most beautiful flowers a shrub can produce: the Crape Myrtle, also known as the Jupiter Tree. It turns out that almost all the streets in and around my neighborhood were planted with them long ago, so that people like me, who walk past the sidewalks and houses every day, could enjoy such beauty.

Here's a sample of several bushes where, as I was walking, I stopped to photograph their beautiful pink, fuchsia, and one white flower. As I passed by, all I could see were bees extracting the rich nectar from the crepe flower bouquets.

As you can see, I chose one of the most abundant flowers from each tree, and they differ from one another in color and size. I photographed some small trees in La Estación Park, planted in rows to give a special touch to the gardens and recreational areas of this large park.

The Crape Myrtle, or Jupiter tree, is a species native to Asian countries. Here in Argentina, this species is abundant, and what I love about it is that it blooms right in the middle of summer. It seems incredible! Its flower is very small, but it grows close together with the rest, forming a kind of small tree or dense bouquet, which is what gives these shrubs their life.

Incidentally, as I was walking past a house with a crape myrtle, a woman came out alarmed when she saw me taking pictures of the flowers. She immediately asked if I wanted something from her or her plant. She thought I was going to take a branch. But I explained that I like to take pictures of flowers, and she left, satisfied and at ease. Here, the residents are very protective of the decorative plants they have in front of their houses.

Okay, I'll tell you that the Crape Myrtle has a fruit, and it's similar to a capsule, like a balloon, and it can reach up to 12 mm in diameter. You can see it in detail in each cluster of flowers.

The colors of each cluster are fuchsia or pink, each more beautiful than the last. Although the individual flowers are small, when you see them clustered together as they form branches on the bushes, true magic unfolds, leaving our eyes in disbelief at such beauty. If I ever have a house with land, I will plant crape myrtle in all its colors. It would be a wonderful gift.

I captured this beautiful branch as I walked by on the opposite sidewalk. I just had to cross the street to get my hands on this wonderful gift and see that the little bees were also doing their job and looking very happy.

The crape myrtles in La Estación Park are still small, but they are already blooming, and some have full canopies. They just need each branch to fully develop into a profusion of flowers and fruit for the true miracle of the crape myrtle to occur. We can see that they were planted in rows to contribute to the beautiful decoration of this park.

I must mention that the beautiful Crape Myrtle tree also goes by other names such as Crape Myrtle, Jupiter, Indian Lilac, Southern Lilac, or Crepe Myrtle. This tree can grow up to eight meters tall. Each of its flowers has six petals and is ruffled. Further scientific information follows.

I found these two little trees on another sidewalk. What I liked was that there wasn't just one that was fuchsia-colored, but there was also a white one, though it still had few flowers.

Here we can appreciate this specimen, whose main characteristic is its flowers. It's completely covered in beautiful clusters of pink blossoms. I wanted to take the photo from the sidewalk across the street so I could see it in all its splendor. It was from this tree that I got the first flowers for this post.

This is a row of three crape myrtles, with a few clusters of flowers, as they are in full bloom. Just look at the street and see how the crape myrtles are adding beauty to my daily walks, and I love it.

Another sign that only crape myrtles are blooming on the sidewalks in my neighborhood. I'm thrilled, because in just a few days they'll be even more beautiful, bursting with pink, purple, fuchsia, and white. It will be a spectacle, and I'll be thrilled.

Finally, today, during my daily walk, I passed by a path I didn't know and came across these beauties. You can clearly see that the beautiful Crape Myrtle (Jupiter's Flowers) are in full bloom and development in the municipality of Avellaneda, Sarandí, in Buenos Aires.
