Are movies lessons or Fairy tales?

Good morning dear friends, it's been a short while I posted here on the weekly prompt.its because of my tight schedule.Am happy to be here again to respond in my little way to the hive reachout weekly prompt 64 tagged lesson from movies. To begin will say I am really Not a Movie Person, But I stumbled on few reels on social platforms and was drawn a little to Nollywood movies then I pick some Life Lessons, this is due to the characters in some of the movies especially the kinds that leave you thinking long after watching. And if there’s one actress who always gets it right for me, it’s Sonia Uche. I don’t know what it is about her maybe it’s how she brings her roles to life, or how her characters always feel so real.
So let me share some unexpected but valuable life lessons I’ve picked up just from watching Sonia Uche and a few other Nollywood movies. Most of the movies plays that Life Will Test You, But Don’t Break. In most of this movies is shows how betrayal can be,from family, loves one,I mean pressure from every side, this hit me personally. Again Life doesn’t come with warning signs. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re completely down. This movies seems to motivate me by picturing for me that Where You Start Doesn’t Define Where You will End Up. I have watch movies characters play roles where they starts out as a house help, an orphan, or the poor girl/boy no one wants around. But by the end of the film, He/she is transformed not just financially, but mentally and emotionally too. This brings me to total agreement that what you cannot picture you can't future..That message is simple but deep, your background is not your limit. It’s just your beginning. No matter how things look right now, better is possible.Again I learnt that Family Can Be Complicated ,Yes it's very true Let’s be real not everyone gets the perfect family. From jealous siblings to wicked stepmothers and fathers who abandon their children, these movies tell stories that many of us can sadly relate to.If you walk around and interact with people you will know that this lessons are not fairy tales,But what I have learnt from them is that you can still grow beyond family pain. You can still create peace, even if you didn’t come from it. And sometimes, choosing your mental health means creating a little distance and that’s okay.
Love Alone Is Not Enough .Yes, As sweet and magical as love is in movies, love without respect, communication, and maturity just isn’t enough. Some of the most emotional scenes I’ve watched are of women walking away from relationships that weren’t serving them even if they still loved the person. That takes strength. And it taught me that real love doesn’t hurt you over and over. Sometimes leaving is the kindest thing you can do for yourself.
One of my favorite things in these movies is the plot twist that quiet character you ignored turns out to be the hero. Or the girl/boy everyone mocked ends up being the one with the solution. It’s a constant reminder to stay humble and kind, even to people who don’t look the path. You never know who’s hiding greatness behind their silence. To say further Education Isn’t Just Books It’s Power. Some characters find their voice and strength the moment they start valuing themselves and investing in knowledge. That doesn’t always mean a classroom sometimes it’s learning a skill, discovering your worth, or just thinking for yourself.
To End here I talk on lesson again which is forgiveness. Oh, this one. Nollywood is full of betrayal and drama, but also healing. I have seen characters forgive the people who hurt them the most not because they were saints, but because they didn’t want to carry that weight anymore. you forgive to set yourself free.i may not be a full time movie fan, but I know this stories are powerful and Nollywood tells them in a way that hits deep. The tears, the laughter, the drama they all leave something behind. And maybe that’s the best kind of lesson t i never expected to learn. In as much as I remembered this lessons I do try to start watching movies ones In a while to reawake most of the lessons.Movies are good I will recommend it for leisure, comfort and deriving lessons but it's Unsafe to take decisions based on what you watched..
Let's meet in the Comment section if you feel the same about movies.....
