When it comes to food, creativity knows no bounds, and I saw proof of that when I tried a Tequeburger, which is a fusion of a hamburger and tequeños. For those who don't know, tequeños are cheese sticks wrapped in wheat flour dough and fried. I thought this combination was unique when I saw it in a video on Instagram, and I had to go to the fast food stand to try it.ENGLISH VERSION (click here!)
The place is called Krispy Star and is located in the La Coromoto neighborhood on 165th Street. It is a street food stand with a cart for making hamburgers and a few tables for those who want to enjoy its varied menu.
The menu includes options such as bread, hamburgers, patacones, tequeños, French fries, chorizo, and fried or crispy chicken. They also have a children's menu for the little ones. I had to ask specifically for the Tequeburger since it wasn't on the menu, and they kindly told me that they were preparing it, so we ordered it along with a plain chicken burger.
Our order arrived in about 25 minutes. To our surprise, the Tequeburger was so big that it wasn't served like a regular hamburger. The buns were made of tequeño with super thick, mouthwatering cheese, and inside there were slices of yellow plantain, chicken fillet, bacon, ham, and lettuce. What an irresistible meal!
When I tried it, I was delighted with its flavor and the perfect harmony between the yellow banana and the rest of the ingredients, specifically the bacon. The combination was so delicious and unique that it didn't need any additional ingredients, because everything was so over-the-top that we ended up sharing the burger between the two of us.
The simple chicken burger wasn't as simple as we thought, and although it looked very tempting and came with lots of fries, just the way I like it, we couldn't try it because we were already full. I had to take it home for breakfast, and let me tell you, it was delicious, but I couldn't eat it all either and had to share it with my sister.
I would like to replicate this burger in my kitchen, because I can still taste it in my mouth. The dining experience was completely different but delicious.

Cuando se trata de comida la creatividad no tiene límites y lo pude comprobar comiendo una Tequeburger que es una fusión de hamburguesa con tequeños, para los que no saben son unos palitos de queso envueltos de una masa de harina de trigo y son fritos, está combinación me pareció única cuando la vi en un video en instagram y tuve que ir hasta el puesto de comida rápida.
El sitio se llama Krispy Star y se encuentra ubicado en la urbanización La Coromoto en la calle 165, es un puesto de comida callejero, con un carrito para preparar hamburguesas y algunas mesas dispuestas para quiénes quieran disfrutar de su variado menú.
En el menú, hay opciones como panes, hamburguesas, patacones, tequeños, papas fritas, chorizo y pollo frito o tipo crispy también cuentan con un menú infantil para los más pequeños, tuve que preguntar directamente por la Tequeburger ya que no estaba en el menú y me dijeron muy amablemente que si la estaban preparando, así que la pedimos junto con una hamburguesa sencilla de pollo.
Aproximadamente unos 25 minutos llegaron con nuestro pedido, para nuestra sorpresa la Tequeburger era demasiado grande tanto que no venía servida como viene una hamburguesa, las tapas eran de tequeño con un queso super grueso y provocativo, en su interior traía tajadas (plátano amarillo) filete de pollo, tocineta, jamón y lechuga, que comida tan irresistible.
Cuando la probé quedé encantada con su sabor y la perfecta armonía entre el plátano amarillo y el resto de los ingredientes específicamente con la tocineta, su combinación era algo tan delicioso y único y no le negaron ningún ingrediente porque todo estaba tan exagerado, que la hamburguesa la terminamos comiendo entre dos.
La hamburguesa sencilla de pollo, no era tan sencilla colo creímos y aunque se veía muy provocativa y traía muchas papitas como me gusta, no pudimos probarla, porque estábamos con ma barriguita llena y tuve que llevármela a casa para desayunar y déjenme decirles que estaba riquísima y tampoco pude comerla toda y tuve que compartirla con mi hermana.
Me gustaría replicar esta hamburguesa en mi cocina, porque aún puedo saborear su sabor en mi boca, la experiencia gastronómica fue completamente distinta pero riquísima.
