Good morning, moms and dads! December is here, and with this beautiful month comes the end of the girls' projects at school and preschool to conclude the first stage of their education. I really enjoy accompanying them in all their school activities, from developing their projects to preparing the presentations that go with them.ENGLISH VERSION (click here!)
Both projects were planned in advance. Alys was assigned a Christmas tree to bring on the day of her project, and Abby was assigned a Santa Claus, which allowed me to prepare them calmly. As always, I had to let my imagination run wild and use my creativity to make their projects perhaps not the prettiest, but certainly support materials made with all my heart.
Alys was the first to present her project, entitled Values at Christmas. My daughter's tree displayed the value she was going to present, which her teacher had chosen: Kindness. I also wrote down what we had to study to help her practice so she could defend her presentation on the day.
The day of her project arrived, and she presented it with joy and enthusiasm. I couldn't accompany her because the project closing at her school is internal, but her teacher sent me the videos and photographs so I could see it. In a way, my heart was there with her, accompanying her in every word that gave meaning to the value she was assigned.
Abby had her closing ceremony the next day, and besides bringing her Santa Claus, she also performed a dance to the song Burrito Sabanero, which she had practiced for several days. My mom accompanied her because I couldn't do it due to work reasons, which made me feel a little bad, but seeing how happy she looked gradually took away the bittersweet feeling of not being able to be with her.
And so we ended two days full of meaningful experiences for my little ones, topped off with the magic of the season.

¡Buenos días papitos y mamitas! Llegó Diciembre y con este hermoso mes los cierres de proyecto de las niñas en la escuela y en el preescolar para culminar el primer momento pedagógico, a mi me gusta mucho acompañarlas en todas sus actividades escolares, desde la elaboración de los proyectos hasta preparar las exposiciones que acompañan a los mismos.
Ambos proyecto fueron programados con anticipación, a Alys le asignaron un Árbol de Navidad para llevar el día de su proyecto y a Abby un Santa Claus, lo que me permitió prepararlos con tranquilidad, como siempre, tuve que poner a volar mi imaginación y con ayuda de mi creatividad poder hacer de sus proyectos quizás no los más bonitos, pero si un material de apoyo hechos con todo mi corazón.
Alys, fue la primera en presentar, su proyecto, llevaba como nombre: Los Valores en Navidad, en su árbol iba añadido el valor que iba a exponer mi hija, el seleccionado por su maestra fue la Bondad, también escribí lo que teníamos que estudiar para ayudarla a practicar y así pudiera hacer la defensa el día de su exposición.
El día de su proyecto llegó y lo presentó con la alegría y entusiasmo, no pude acompañarla porque el cierre de proyecto en su escuela es de manera interna, pero su maestra envió los videos y fotografías para que la viera, de cierto modo mi corazón estaba ahí con ella acompañándola en cada palabra que le dió sentido al valor que le tocó.
Abby tuvo su cierre al siguiente día y ella a parte de llevar a su Santa Claus, también realizó un baile con la canción del Burrito Sabanero que practico durante varios días, a ella la acompaño mi mamá, porque por razones de trabajo no pude hacerlo, cosa que me hace sentir un poco mal, pero al ver lo feliz que ella se veía fue pasando poco a poco el sabor agridulce que generó no poder estar con ella.
Así finalizamos dos días llenos de experiencias significativas para mis pequeñas y lo mejor con la magia de la época.
