My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2025

There's nothing like a cyclone to generate some panic buying! Just like covid supermarket shelves empty fast. We were able to get some chicken noddle soup packs for my mum in her retirement village, who has been without power for 5 days now.

It looks worse than it was. There was a fair bit of stuff on other shelves

I think we had over 300 mm in 24-hour hours plus more on either side. There were plenty of places around the neighbourhood where water was forcing it way up even after it had stopped raining.

There were quite a few road closures, and the Logan River had broken it banks. we were still able to get through and visit my mum after the worst of it has passed
