Calm pond water and lotus flowers.

There is a small pond right next to our house. Sometimes fish are farmed in this pond and the fish in this pond are very tasty to eat. When I go to school with my daughter, I see this beautiful pond and its calm water is really captivating. At one time, there were many such ponds all over Bangladesh but with the passage of time, people started filling them and building houses there. These ponds are like a natural resource which is now slowly disappearing. At one time, a large amount of indigenous fish was available from all these ponds but now those times are just a golden past.

During the rainy season, such ponds become completely filled with water, and in this new water, many fish come from all over and accumulate in the pond.
