Strawberry Candy, Study

This is the timelapse video of a drawing study, using only one color and a limited palette. The study is based on exploring form and color, achieving high levels of realism with few resources. A single brush without texture or pressure sensitivity was used, along with a reduced color palette. With straight brushstrokes and prioritizing contrasts between light and shadow, the desired result is sought. Thanks to the opacity of the brush, layers of color can be overlapped to achieve lighter and more translucent tones or darker ones.

Este es el video timelapse de un estudio de dibujo, usando solamente un color y una paleta de colores limitadas. El estudio se basa en explorar forma y color, logrando niveles altos de realismo con pocos recursos. Un único pincel sin textura ni sensibilidad a la presión junto a una paleta de colores reducida. Con pinceladas rectas y priorizando los contrastes entre luces y sombras se busca el resultado deseado. Gracias a la opacidad del pincel se pueden sobreponer capas de colores para lograr tonos más claros y translúcidos o más oscuros.
