[ENG-ESP] Slow Sunday with my Cat

Today was another migraine day, but it was still productive. I studied for a little while, and I cleaned and tidied up the house a bit. My kitten kept me company through it all and made me feel better.

Hoy fue otro día de migraña, pero aún así fue productivo. Estudié un ratito, y limpié y ordené un poco la casa. Mi gatita me acompañó en todo y me hizo que me sintiera mejor.

Here she was sleeping peacefully with her head tucked under her stuffed toy, until she heard me take out my notebook and came over to inspect.

Aquí ella estaba durmiendo muy tranquila con la cabeza metida debajo de su peluche, hasta que escuchó que saqué el cuaderno y se acercó a inspeccionar.

Cats are so funny. A lot of people have the misconception that they aren't sociable, but in reality, all the ones I've lived with are very observant and attentive. Even if they're shy and do it from a distance, they want to participate somehow in our day-to-day activities and feel close to us, even if it's in their own way, with some distance.

Los gatos son muy graciosos. Mucha gente tiene la creencia errónea de que no son sociables, pero en realidad todos con los que he convivido son muy observadores y atentos, aunque sean más tímidos y lo hagan desde la distancia, quieren participar de alguna manera en nuestras actividades del día a día y sentirse cerca de nosotros, aunque sea a su manera, con distancias.

Anyway, for me, a slow and quiet Sunday like this is ideal, especially if I'm feeling sick. Of course, the real ideal would be not feeling unwell, but I'm grateful for this Sunday all the same 💖

En fin, para mí un domingo así, de ritmo lento y tranquilo es lo ideal, más aún si me siento enferma. Claro que lo realmente ideal sería no tener malestar, pero igual estoy agradecida por este domingo 💖
