Monomad: Photos of my cousin before her baptism [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Last Saturday, I had to take some photos of my little cousin's baptism. Once we arrived at the church and the baptism wasn't about to start yet, I saw my cousin looking very happy and decided to take some spontaneous photos beforehand. I'm sharing them with you today. I hope you enjoy them.

El sábado pasado tenía que hacer unas fotografías de un bautizo de mi prima pequeña. Una vez que llegamos a la iglesia y todavía no iba a empezar el bautizo, vi a mi prima muy contenta y decidí hacer algunas fotografías espontáneas antes y se las comparto el día de hoy, espero que las disfruten.

Taking pictures of children is challenging, and someone once told me that it was similar to taking pictures of animals because both are always on the move and don't always pay attention. That's why I tried to take these pictures naturally, just waiting for the moment I thought was worth photographing and then doing it.

Hacer fotografías a niños es un reto y alguien una vez me dijo que era similar a hacerle fotos a los animales y es que, ambos siempre están en constante movimiento y no siempre hacen caso, por eso intenté hacer estas fotos de manera natural, solo ver el momento en que consideré que valía la pena fotografiar y hacerlo.

I must say that I had a little help. A small child, perhaps two years old, came over to where we were, and my little cousin couldn't take her eyes off him. That was the moment when her attention was focused on the little boy, and I took advantage of it to take the photos. There was no need to tell her to pose; I just let her be herself.

Debo decir que tuve una pequeña ayuda, un pequeño niño de unos 2 años quizás se acercó a donde estábamos y mi pequeña prima no dejaba de verlo, ese fue el momento en que ella tenía su atención puesta en el pequeño niño y yo aproveché de hacer las fotos, no hacía falta decirle que posara, bastaba con dejarla ser ella misma.
