Expressions of battles [Eng/Esp]

Portraits taken in the most spontaneous way always have these interesting moments where you don't really expect anything to happen, but something always happens. You don't know what it will be, but it's that touch of spontaneity that makes this type of portrait interesting, especially when they are part of an event. As a fan of freestyle battles, I take advantage of these places to take portraits of the participants, and today I want to share some interesting portraits I took. I hope you enjoy them.

Los retratos que se hacen de la forma más espontánea siempre tienen estos momentos interesantes donde no esperas realmente que algo ocurra, pero siempre ocurre algo, no sabes el qué, pero es ese mismo toque de espontaneidad lo que hace de este tipo de retratos algo interesante y más cuando son parte de un evento y yo al ser fanático de las batallas de freestyle, aprovecho estos lugares para hacer retratos de los participantes y el día de hoy les quiero compartir algunos retratos interesantes que hice, espero que los disfruten.

Capturing these moments is always a challenge, first because you have no control over your surroundings; everyone is busy with their own business, and I am the one trying to seize those moments when I think it's the right time to take a picture. Sometimes this works out very well, and other times it can go very wrong. That's why I always take lots of photos. Some end up very blurry, others are shaky, and others, despite being in focus, have nothing interesting in them. That's why it's such a challenge, but let's just say it's always worth taking a risk with the things you love.

Capturar estos momentos nunca deja de ser un reto, primero porque no controlas nada de lo que te rodea, todos están en su asunto y yo soy quien intenta aprovechar esos momentos donde considero que es adecuado para capturar, a veces esto puede salir muy bien y en otras ocasiones puede salir muy mal, de ahí que siempre hago muchas fotografías, algunas terminan muy desenfocadas, otras movidas y en otras a pesar del buen enfoque no hay anda interesante en la foto, por eso resulta todo un reto, pero digamos que siempre vale la pena el arriesgarse con todo aquello que te gusta.

For the development, I opted for the style I like best and one that I think works best with this type of urban photography. I suppose that by counteracting many colors, it allows you to focus on the subjects without having so many colors that can distract you. Personally, I also feel that it provides a more striking look, and that color tone suits them perfectly.

Para el revelado, me decanté por el estilo que más me gusta y uno de los que considero que más funciona con este tipo de fotografías urbanas; supongo que, al contrarrestar muchos colores, te permite centrarte en los protagonistas sin tener tantos colores que puedan distraer. Personalmente, también siento que brinda un aspecto más llamativo y esa tonalidad con colores les queda perfecto.
