5 minute freewrite 2940 prompt one minute left

My sister called this morning to see if I wanted to ride with her to a place that supplies pet products and food for free. I rode with her, but told her I thought they were only open from 9 to 11. As it turned out they are open from 11 to 4, so we had some time to kill.

Across the street there is a thrift store, we figured we could spend the wait time in there. They were having a huge sale. They gave us a tote and said we can fill it for ten dollars and we could keep the tote.

These are the things that I put in the tote, there are fourteen cans of sterno. I got an old milkshake glass like what a drugstore of Woolworths would serve it in. A dog collar, I have been looking for one of them. Some old bottles and tea pots. My sister filled the rest of the tote with clothes and games for her Granddaughters.

We got back to the pet supply place and had only one minute left to wait for them to open. They gave us each two bags of dog food and cat food. I also got two bags of rabbit food and a dog brush. My siter got a huge dog bed, shampoo, and some other things.

We had to take my daughter to Vero, but when we got there, the place was closed until one, so we had more time to kill. We went to the Salvation Army thrift store. I got a skirt, a shirt, a baking pan, and a soft bike seat. I spent ten dollars.

My sister asked the price of two pair of shoes and was told 6.99 each, she asked the lady to take one pair off. She had some clothes, some were on sale for a dollar each, but one pair of pants and a couple shirts were 4.99, she told the lady she did not want them either. The cashier put the extra pair of shoes in my sisters bag and did not charge her for them, and on the clothes my sister wanted put back, the cashier put them in her bag and charged her one dollar for them. My sister asked her if she was allowed to take tips. The lady acted like she did not want to answer, my sister slipped her a 5 dollar bill.
