Reincarnation or genetic similarity?

Reincarnation—This word has different feelings in the minds of many. Some believe it, some do not at all. As a common man, I myself will say that I personally do not believe in the concept of "reincarnation". Because the way I see the world and life, life is only one for me. But a large part of society, especially those who follow Sanatan Dharma, firmly believe in reincarnation. Our religious scriptures also say—the soul is immortal, and the soul leaves one body and moves to another body according to its actions.

However, in reality, when we see someone suddenly behaving in a way that is very much like a dead person, many people say, "He is exactly like my father", "This child is behaving exactly like my dead mother"—these words are often heard. Especially when a child suddenly behaves or says something that is beyond his age or experience, then there is no point. People are forced to think—"It is as if someone's soul has returned"

But what I believe in is—genetic connection or genetic similarity. Just as my father's blood is in my blood, so my child will have my blood. Just as my father was, I grew up carrying his blood, so it is natural for my speech, behavior, and thoughts to be much like him. My child will also have those characteristics. And this genetic behavioral similarity is often assumed by people to be reincarnation.

Even the shape of the face, the way he walks, the look in his eyes—these things are often passed down exactly from generation to generation. Then many people say, "Look, this boy looks exactly like his grandfather"—this similarity is wrongly interpreted by many as reincarnation.

However, since our religious faith speaks of reincarnation, there is nothing to disrespect if someone believes in it. But I personally believe—it is actually the result of science, genetics, and family influence.

Not reincarnation, I believe that people absorb a lot of the behavior, habits, likes and dislikes of those they love around them. And this is why we suddenly find the shadow of a deceased loved one in someone.
