Orange Pink Apricot in bloom, Pink Kush pollinated + Orange Pink Apricot clone, Pineapple Express seedling

The Orange Pink Apricot and Pink Kush cannabis plants are in bloom, the Pink Kush was just pollinated. The Orange Pink Apricot clone is flourishing, the Pineapple Express seedling is off too a good start.
Orange Pink Apricot
The Orange Pink Apricot cannabis plant has been in bloom for three weeks, basking in red spectrum LED grow lighting for twelve hours a day.
The buds have been filling and stacking up nicely, grown from an Orange Barb x Pink Apricot crossbred seed. Both parent strains had impressive leveled top multiple cola growth with large pistils. With this solid early size, I can see these buds growing extra aggressively, like the Orange Barb mother's did.

There's already a sweet citrus orange and Apricot scent emanating from the buds, looking forward to the taste test. Mostly thick white pistil pairs, a few dark orange ones here and there.

There is a hefty coating of shimmering THC trichomes one the leaves near the buds. Many of the lower fan leaves have yellowed, soon they'll fall, some will let more light through. I'm not sure if the yellowing leaves is due to lack lof need, lack of light, sensitivity to too much light, lack of nutrients, or just part of the bloom process, but it seems different from strain to strain, and it doesn't seem to effect the bud growth, five weeks until harvest :D
Pink Kush
This Pink Kush cannabis plant has had two weeks of bloom time, and has been bushing out nicely, with a lot of bud stalk growth.

You can see some of the lower fan leaves starting to yellow, when they fall it will open up more light for the bud stalks. Some fan leaves are starting to purple, purple fan leaves seem to endure. The lower level of bud tops are the tops of the branches growing up from the main stalks, the more the merrier.

The buds are getting ready to thicken and stack into colas, there's already an impressive coating of THC trichomes on the bud leaves.
Lower Branch pollination
A lower branch bud of the Pink Kush has been selected for cross pollination with the male Apricot Kush pollen, there's that lucky lower branch in the picture below.
Apricot Kush pollen
The Apricot Kush male plant has been in bloom for two weeks, it was moved to the vegetative tent so no buds would be accidentally pollinated. In the picture below you can see the Orange Pink Apricot clone, Pineapple Express seedling, and the Apricot Kush male cannabis plants. Male cannabis plants don't produce THC buds, only flowers with pollen.
It doesn't mind the 24 hours of light in the vegetative growth tent, compared to the 12 hours of bloom light it was getting, this male plant is determined to release pollen, lots of branch and flower growth. I laid down plastic to collect the pollen for later crossbreeding use.

There are piles of pollen collecting on the plastic sheeting. Soon I'll shake the plant, fold the plastic, dump it into a small jar and put it in the freezer for later use.
I brought a pollen covered leaf over to the Pink Kush's lower branch bud to pollinate it, Shake shake.
Each pistil pair comes from a pod that will grow into a seed if pollinated. Each seed will grow into a plant like it's mother or father, or anywhere in between. It's surprising, but this little pollinated bud will produce around eighty seeds, nature is abundant.
Another six weeks until harvesting the Pink Kush buds and crossbred seeds, I'm looking forward to seeing them swell during this next week of growth.

Orange Pink Apricot clone
Considering when it's leaf growth began, thus Orange Pink Apricot clone has had about three weeks of vegetative growth.
This clone's mother plant only had five weeks of vegetative growth before being put into bloom, I'll keep this clone in veg for six or seven weeks to see what a more mature plant can do.
The Orange Pink Apricot clone has been growing hardy and tall, soon this plant will get some bent stalk training to get a more level branch top growth, to help maximize the LED grow lighting and harvest.
Pineapple Express seedling
After soaking the seed a few days, placing in a damp paper towel for a few days, then planting in the dirt, the Pineapple Express seedling has had about a week of vegetative growth.
The first grow of this strain was smaller, I'll give this one five or six weeks in veg more before putting it into bloom mode. The tasty buds from this Pineapple Express seedling have about four months remaining until harvest.
