My Activities On New Year's Morning With The Arrival Of Prospective Tilapia Broodstock

Hello friends, how are you today and hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Thursday 2 January 2025, on this happy occasion I would like to show again some interesting images that I have prepared and these images are the images from my activities yesterday morning. Yesterday morning I received back Jalan Main from tilapia fish brought from Java. The driver who delivered the mother tilapia fish didn't call me so he had to wake me up in the morning around 05.00 am.

My boss also called me at that time, I myself was ready for their arrival and there was no news at all when the prospective parent of the tilapia arrived at the location where I worked. After I received a call from my boss, I immediately got ready to release Main Road into the maintenance pool. The parent is put in a plastic packing bag and then put in styrofoam. Delivery from Java Island to North Sumatra province on the island of Sumatra is by plane and then from North Sumatra it is sent using L300.

There are 10 styrofoams that were put in by Jalan Main from tilapia fish and each styrofoam contains 500 styrofoams. Usually, deliveries using land transportation such as the L300 must of course be filled with oxygen 1 in 3 with water.

When I arrived at the location, I immediately arranged the styrofoam near the fish pond so I could take the documents. So my superiors have also told me that when the main road arrives, don't let go before collecting the documents. I took several pictures after I assembled the styrofoam and I will send these pictures to my superior as documentary evidence.

Then next time I took a photo with the L300 driver. This is proof that the Fish Main Road package sent by them has arrived at the location. I will also send these pictures to an L300 and he will send them to the person who sent the package as proof that he has released the main fish road package.

I removed the plastic packing bag and then put it on styrofoam for me to take photos and I also placed it on the ground close to the styrofoam so I could take some pictures too. The reason I took lots of pictures of this activity was so that later when I sent it to my boss, which pictures he needed to make a report to the relevant department would be easy when he selected the pictures.

As we know, tilapia is a type of freshwater fish that has high economic value and market demand for this fish is also quite high so that fish farmers can earn money by carrying out tilapia cultivation. To produce superior seeds, we also have to prepare superior broodstock. From superior parents you can certainly produce superior seeds. So where I work here the broodstock is taken directly from the island of Java and it is a superior breeder. The size of the fat bike that we received was around 5 cm and this is still quite small and we have to look after the prospective broodstock until Jalan the broodstock weighs 200 grams for females and 250 grams for males. Once the male and female parents have the weight as I mentioned above, of course we will then carry out the spawning of the parents.

The way the broodstock are sent like this is of course when we release them into the rearing pond. We have to carry out acclimatization so that there is an adjustment between the temperature in the plastic bag and the water temperature in the pond. This is done to reduce stress levels in the fish. I opened the plastic packing bag and then I left the bag in water and then I added water little by little into the bag so that there was an adjustment between the temperatures of the two containers.

After about 10 minutes I did this and then I slowly released Jalan the mother who was in the plastic bag into her pet pool. For long distance deliveries like what we do, of course when releasing the brood fish into the pond you have to have a technique so that the fish don't get stressed and. When I did this, I asked my friend to take some pictures while the activity was taking place.

OK friends, that's what my activities were like yesterday morning when I arrived on the main road of tilapia fish to where I work. I did this activity for approximately 2 hours when the package of tilapia arrived.
