A few newbie questions.

Hello all

I've been here for a while now and feel that I'm slowly but surely getting to know my way around, even after a rather bumpy start.

However, I still have a few questions which I hope someone can answer.

1. If I give someone a like or upvote, do I also benefit from it or only the person who receives the upvote/like?

2. What's the deal with the like weights? What reason is there for not always voting with 100%?

3. I see quite a lot of posts in foreign languages that i don't speak. Can I somehow restrict which languages I want to have displayed and which not?

4. I have learnt that the community punishes spammers/scammers via the hiveguardians and apparently keeps a list of known spam/scam accounts? Is there any way I can use this list to keep unfriendly accounts off my back?
