Each year’s regrets are envelopes in which messages of hope are found for the new year. John R. Dallas

Happy New Year everyone! πŸ’“πŸ’“

Happy New Year to all my friends! May it be full of great opportunities, adventures and beautiful memories with your loved ones!

Another year is gone. Woah! It went too fast! I'm sure we all had challenges to confront, dreams to accomplish and memories to treasure in our hearts. There have been ups and downs, laughs and tears, joyful and sad, good and bad.

As a mom, I found parenting this year easy, I guess. From four to five yrs old, I think it was the easiest year so far to be a mom for my kid. Really! I can go further and explain in details why is that, but I think you know why. Its just the age, its easier as they get older. Though there will be coming hard times too. πŸ˜†πŸ€£
But now when another year has passed, I realize how important it is to be at my best if I want my child to be at his best. So my advice to you, all parents here, and especially the ones who homeschool, don't forget to have a little "you time".

Last year, on the holidays, we tried to do this firework art, which is an easy version for toddlers and preschoolers too.
I saw amazing works on the internet, so ours isnt the best out there. For some reason, Caleb wasnt in the mood for it, well not from the beginning. So the result isnt how I imagined, but its just fine.

We used some papertubes to make our colorful and bright fireworks.
I think you can cut them even thinner than we did, and thus you will have a result much closer to reality.

You can use any color you wish or like. But it has to be acrylics as they are more bright and vivid in color. I'm not sure you'll get the same reault with watercolors.
I think using black paper is the best, maybe a dark navy colored paper works too.

There's not much to say about the method here. Just cut the papertubes as in the images above and dip 'em in acrylic paint. Try to keep it fixed on the paper.
You could also take a look on other examples like this one, just google fireworks art toodlers or something similar.

Maybe you can use this idea with your kids tomorrow if you're at home and dont have special plans or guests or something. Or you can do it in the next few days. Anyway, it won't be too long since fireworks appeared all over the sky, all over the world.

Art with kids is always fun and relaxing to do. And usually, all family members, especially kids, love to have a special moment and do crafts, cooking, watching a movie or something else together with family.

Warmest thoughts and best wishes!
Happy New Year everyone! πŸ₯‚
