The Cruel Illusion ~ Part I

Intro to a longer unfolding
Our whole life often turns out to be nothing more than an illusion.
The good news is that it can be cured, if we have the persistence to face it.
We can skip so many dead ends if we start seeing through the tricks and lies that keep us trapped.
This is for all of us who are trying to clear our minds, to step out of self-deception, and to discover something more real than the stories we were taught to believe.
We don’t need to repeat every mistake others have made. Of course, we can if we want, there’s no shortage of examples of human folly. But we are not bound to stay that way. That’s the point here.
What matters is not how wise we appear, but what results we actually live.
Let’s be clear.
This is not about a path to enlightenment or about finding harmony with ourselves. It is a warning about the traps we all fall into. A reminder for the moments when we feel like giving up, when it seems the nonsense will never end. When no matter how much effort we make, no matter how much garbage we clear from our minds, no matter how many wounds we believe we have healed, freedom still feels out of reach.
The greatest barrier between us and freedom is the mistaken idea of what freedom is supposed to look like. We carry images, doctrines, and fantasies of freedom, and they only bind us tighter.
Real freedom is freedom from ourselves, from our misguided desires, fantasies, ambitions, beliefs, and illusions. It is freedom from the stories born inside our own minds.
These illusions do not simply disappear. They remain, but stepping outside their control is more real than anything we imagined. In that shift, we move through the world of illusions not as prisoners, but as skilled players who know the game.
And with this comes a painful realization: until now, we were not living freely at all. We were prisoners, and at times even puppets of the illusions we believed.
To be continued... Until then, contemplate on this.
