I can not believe that it has been over two weeks since my last post about Splinterlands on Hive. Conclave Arcana made an entrance into Splinterlands about two weeks ago and what an entrance it was. The Pre Sale was a lot of fun with people posting a lot of content about Splinterlands on social media. There was a real buzz in the atmosphere during the pre sale making a lot of people including myself excited for what was to come.
And if we were not excited already with all the content getting put out by the game and the community. We even had people covering the last few hours of the Pre-Sale on live streams and the viewers would have been amazed at the final spending spree made by some as they tried to climb the ladder to become number 1 on the leaderboard.
Here is what the final leaderboard ended up looking like:

Then of coarse Conclave Arcana launched and everyone started opening their packs and trying out the new cards. And as always some put their cards up for sale trying to get a fair price for their cards while everyone is trying to build their decks. One lucky person even managed to pull a Black Foil Arcane (BFA) from a pack and if that is not lucky enough they then sold it for $1800. Splinterlands is on fire right now.

Splinterlands has a few streamers and video creators that use Twitch, YouTube and other platforms to spread the word about Splinterlands. I have even got back into streaming about Splinterlands. This is part of the reason for me not posting about Splinterlands lately as between work, home life and streaming I have not had much time for writing up a post.
The streams have mostly been successful except for one where I only managed to get one person chatting, that was a Saturday for me and I have tried Saturday streams before and they do not seem to be a good time slot for me viewers wise. But the Monday and Wednesday streams have been really good with more and more people showing up.
@devonhdd was kind enough to give me 50k DEC live on one of my streams, this has allowed me to give away Standard Conclave Arcana packs on stream to my viewers. A massive big thankyou to @devonhdd for doing that.
And then on last nights stream @bjangles from The Peoples Guild gifted a sub to @jagged71 and subscribed as well.
The splinterlands community is so amazing!
I am looking forward to making Monday and Wednesday nights a permanent roster on my streaming calendar.

🃏DECK BUILDING🃏

I run a guild as well as live stream and have been looking at the best ways to quickly get a starter deck of cards. The biggest thing holding me back at the moment is summoners and you can see by the price of them on the market that everyone else has the same issue. The quickest way of coarse is to just buy the cards you want of the market as people are selling them so this is not a issue. The only issue is the price if you don't have a lot of money. Having said that you can get common cards cheap off the market.
An alternative would be to buy Starter Packs, these packs only cost $1 or 1k DEC and give you four common cards and one rare. Now summoners are rare cards so this means that you have a chance of pulling summoner from these packs. And with summoners selling for $1.50 to $2 at the this is not a bad option as you only need to draw a summoner once every two packs and you will not only have a summoner but also the commons as an added bonus.
I feel like they are viable option even if we can not get a black foil or gold foil from them. What are your thoughts?
