TRIP TO BATAAN

Five days ago, my whole family went to Mariveles, Bataan. Not to have fun, but to attend the funeral of my uncle.

Way back January 18 (last month) my mom and I went to Mariveles together with her older brother and His wife.

I don’t know why I decided to go that time, all I know is that I was going to have a day to relax and breathe.

Fast forward, when we arrived at my uncle's house, I saw him (habang dahan dahan na nag p-park yung car). While they were talking, I was just staring at my uncle, whom I was meeting for the first time (we had never met before)

He was so thin at naninilaw ang balat, and it was clear from his face that he was suffering and wasn’t happy with his situation.

The Lord spoke to me, so after we caught up and ate, I prayed for him. This wasn't the first time I prayed with many people, but I was really nervous that time, and the only thing that came out of my mouth was 'Lord, speak through me.'

The prayer ended, and I heard them talking about how much they would need for the hospital.

The Lord convicted me again, so I gave my 1,000 pesos (even though it was my last money).

I believe that the Lord will return that 1,000 pesos to me 3x, so I didn't hesitate to give it.

January 27, I found out that my tito passed away. It feels so heavy, but I'm happy at the same time because before he passed, he regained his faith in the Lord, and I was part of that reconciliation.

I remember when I prayed for him, I could see the tears in his eyes.

It's true that, 'Everything God touched, He changed.’

YOU CANNOT OUTGIVE THE GIVER

It's a long explanation, but right after Mariveles on January 18, I got my first client.

When I got this client, I remembered the 1,000 pesos (which was my last money) that I gave to help with my uncle's hospital expenses.

Most of us think that when we give, we'll run out.

But you know, one thing I've learned about being generous is that the more you give, the more you will receive because you cannot outgive the giver.

When you're helping someone, don't think about what you don't have. Instead, ask yourself 'what do I have?'

Believe me, God will prosper you!
