My Story Pt. 7

The Great Migration

So about a month, month in a half into this some guy that was an inmate there is all over the news. Coming out about the conditions at Vigo County Jail. So they fell under scrutiny and needed to clean up.

I had settled in sort of at this point. At least knew who was who by then.

All the sudden they pulled a group of us without saying why at all. Made us grab anything personal and follow.

Before we knew it we were outside boarding a buss.

Guards wouldn't say at all what was happening. Just barking like 1950s drill sergeants and forcing us onboard.

The group that was pulled didn't seem to make sense any way we could see. Guys and gals, various charges and whatnot.

Eventually we are on roads all the local folks recognized.

The guy I mentioned a few posts back with the horn tattoos (seriously they looked drawn on with crayon by a drunk 4th grader), yea him and I get a nice history in my experience with this area of Indiana. Final verdict still out on that one.

Anyway, he starts straight up having a breakdown once he sees where we're going. Literally in tears, begging the guards not to send him there. Wouldn't really talk about why but his last experience was definitely traumatizing, meanwhile he felt right at home in Vigo.

All the sudden there stories of this place being filled with hardass guards beating inmates and all sorts of other stuff started floating around the buss...

Idk, stories like that can be true, or they can be the locals fucking with you. You never really know. So I didn't pay much attention. That guy seemed like a pussy with a big fucking mouth to me anyway.

But every one of the inmates seemed to know and have some mutual fear of the place though.

Anyway, Knox County Jail (Indiana)

We got there it was in the middle of a pretty large flat acreage all buttoned up like a prison. Tons of space around it on all sides. Nowhere at all to hide and all walls connected to fence.

We walked along maybe a 100ft fence to get in. There were heavily armed guards with fully automatic rifles placed every so many feet like a military operation

but in black and navy.

All in the latest body armor and even masks much like the picture above.

Single file only, walk against the wall, barking the whole time...

Super aggressive and threatening all the way through processing.

Lines painted for you to follow and rude ass angry guards screaming at you to face the wall while following the line. Threatening to beat you severely if you didn't listen.

Every single inmate, no matter how hard they acted at Vigo, stared straight at the wall silently. Not a word from a single one of them.

We were searched in ways no one wants to share.

In that show that the guy has on Netflix "Inside World's Toughest Prisons"....

He has an episode where the entry to the prison is excessive. At one point they had him naked and he was squatting while the guard looked up his asshole.

Just after that scene they cut to him saying that the entry to this prison is the toughest he's seen. I don't remember which prison it was but I'm sure he'll never forget a guy looking in his asshole.

They do that at Knox County Jail, in Indiana.

They literally make you squat naked while an officer looks up your ass when you enter that jail as an inmate.

When Raphael Rowe commented that that was the most rigorous entry he'd experienced from prisons around the world, it brought me back to entering Knox County Jail.

Some barking ass cop made me squat naked and looked up my asshole.
