Hello everyone, how are you all? I am Kashif. I just joined this amazing platform, and there are so many things that I want to share and I want to learn and engage with all of you. I want to share my side of the world and be a part of your side of the world through this platform.

One thing that I really admire about this platform and one reason why I joined it is that I have access to different cultures, different people, different communities, and I am a learner. I want to learn about different people, and I want to show how my culture, my people, my places, my communities work.

This is why I have brought to you my village. This is a very small village, it is in the northern part of Punjab province of Pakistan. It is named Bhoja . It is just a few miles away from important cities. You see the lifestyle people live here is very different, it is almost the opposite of how the people live in cities.

Pakistan is a very different and beautiful country, and it is diverse in people, in cultures, religions, ethnicities. And although there are people united, but there are so many distinct features in every other village. You will find differences and similarities in these people.

I am here to show you those differences, those similarities with all of you. You can see the children here are the reflection of how adults are. They are very simple, they are kind, compassionate. They are loving and welcoming. This is one of the most beautiful features about the villagers, countrymen of my country.

They are very hospitable, they invite you to their homes. These days, Punjab, most of it is going through floods and torrential rains. And the people are going through a tough time, but we are holding up very well, and I hope that we will be out of it soon. You can see the beauty of this place through these pictures; it is very green.

I happened to visit the graveyard of my ancestors, and this is how we pay tribute to the people who have died. We go to their graves, we shower flowers on them, and we pray for their peaceful life in the afterlife, and it is part of our culture. You see, this village is not so different from other villages. Considering that other villages are also hospitable and beautiful, and the people here live a very simple life.

You can see their children are making a kite from the plastic shopper. I was a child once, and I have done the very same things in my childhood as well. The houses are of mud. People cannot afford gigantic houses or even brick-made houses. This is why they make mud houses. One of the things that I like about mud houses is they are cold, they are not warm in the summers.

I have not mentioned it, but the summer here in our country is very hot. And people do such things to save themselves from the scorching beams of the sun. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this little ride to my village, and I really look forward to hearing from you all. I am hoping that I will also get some Hive power so that I can engage with you in the comments. My Hive power is low. So, I will be looking forward to gaining some of that as well.

And thank you so much for making it to the last. I have taken these photos with my cellphone in my village.
