Hi friends!

‎It's been a rainy day today, and it brings a cold breeze.

‎The rain didn't just fall outside, but it followed me into the kitchen and at home.

‎So now, join me as I share my ordinary snapshots that make up our simple, imperfect life.

‎Flooded

‎This morning, I woke up to the sound of continuous rainfall. Only to find out that the back of our house was already flooded. The air was so chilly that even holding water felt almost impossible. Of course, I should endure it, as I had no other choice. 😜

‎Fried Meatloaf And Scrambled Eggs

‎Even though the weather was gloomy, I went straight to the kitchen to cook breakfast. I prepared fried meatloaf and scrambled eggs. To make the meatloaf extra special, I always dip it in scrambled egg before frying. It gives a richer, yummier flavor compared to frying it plain. It's simple, affordable, and very satisfying, especially on a cold and rainy morning. We paired it with freshly cooked hot rice.

‎Marinated Chicken = Strong Flavor

‎By lunchtime, the rain still hadn't stopped. I cooked fried chicken, which had been marinated for quite a long time. That long marination really made a difference. The flavor was strong and well absorbed. 😋

‎Decided To Have A Drink

‎As evening came, the rain continued to pour, resulting in colder air. To ease the cold, my hubby and I decided to have a drink. We tried the mini version of The Bar Premium Pink Gin, paired with apple juice. My hubby wasn't a fan of the flavor, but for me, it was just fine. We also bought a few pulutan, like Nova and Sugo. The crunch paired well with our drinks. It was a nice moment together while listening to the rain outside. 🥰

‎As the rain continued to fall, our day ended.

‎Those moments filled my hours in between.

‎Nothing big happened today.

‎Yet these simple days are worth remembering.

‎Until my next everyday snapshots...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
