My Hive Power Progress (Jan 2026)

As January draws near to a close I have powered up some hive to get over 38k HP. Noting by the post's main chart majority of my Hive earnings are coming from posting while my curating is minuscule. This is is mainly my lack of reading other posts while delegating majority of my HP out to earn passively. I am currently busy at my job but during off hours can spend time to checking Hive and Splinterlands. In the future I hope to transition into manual curating to boost my activities on Hive.

With a curation less than 6% it is not ideal but I have over 4.5k HP in my upvote which nearly 15% of my entire HP. I plan to grow my undelegated portion of HP nearly 10k HP before I really decide if I want to undelegated majority of my HP and go manual curation. It will depend on how quickly I can achieve this goal.

In Splinterlands I have been selling assets steadily into DEC and converting that into Hive. The majority of my HP gains is directly from playing Splinterlands. In simple terms I am cashing out on my many years of playing the game. For a quick reminder I had decided to use this approach in lieu of my multi year of earning in Splinterlands and re-investing proceeds back into the game in the form of more assets.

The challenging part in trying to grow in terms more assets became difficult as prices of DEC fell while card and items prices continue to drop from highs. In the end I felt I was losing more than gaining. Hence the alternate route I am trying is converting assets into tokens to accumulate more. The end goal is have enough tokens to consistently buy more Splinterlands assets. Its going to take a lot more accumulation before I can reach there but each month I will continue to record my progress as I believe I had made great strides over the past few months since I started this campaign.

Looking ahead I will be aiming to earn more SPS in Splinterlands to hit my end of the year goals. In parallel trying to building up my Hive Power so that I can spend the dividends on Splinterlands assets. I have not determine how much passive HP I would need to earn in order to be able to spend on more Splinterlands assets but for now aiming at daily HP whole numbers and increasing it as quickly as possible is what is motivating me to continue.
