One of the major crop that is being cultivated in agriculture is corn or Maize. This crop is also being consumed all over the world no matter the tribe, religion or country. And that is why maize is also one of the Major components that is been inclusive in animal feed. No matter the composition of your animal feed there is always a traces of corn which is as a result of source of carbohydrates. The carbohydrates is also known as energy giving food for all human being and for animals as well. Its all depend on which of the animal feed you want to propound. And it will be calculated and include in the other components making a full animal feed.

So when this type of crop is being cultivated to some areas or state or country we have different approach of pest and diseases. In some countries they have a very high attack of pest and diseases. So they are always fully prepared ahead of time. But here in west African Nigeria we also have the pest and diseases but in a minima way. When you visit some farms they may cultivate maize without a single traces of attack of pest and diseases. Whereas we have some States where there are always too much attack for crops by pest and diseases. So you need to be aware of the present condition on what is happening around your environment before you jump into the conclusion of planting MAIZE.

There are some procedures that you need to follow while making this production happen. After 4 months of cultivating the crop you must also prepare ahead of time how to store it and where to store it. There are some seed that are 4 months plus. Depending on the type of agricultural store you purchase them. that is why you need to ask a lot of questions before you buy your seed.

After the harvesting of the Maize, there is always what you can use other parts of the maze for that it will be more beneficial and more sustainable. Which is using the MAIZE waste to feed the animals. Using the Maize stalk or Plant as a whole to feed the rabbit.

This was after the harvesting of the portion of the farm which I cultivated maize of 4 months. The 4 months I already started harvesting MAIZE. And here we have the rest. I intended spreading it inside the sun for a couple of weeks to make it more dried naturally.

we also have some portion of the Maize that was eating and consumed by rodents predators such as the flying Birds and the grass cutters. These are some of the major problems that the Farmer fishes which also can be minimized at some point.

This is also what the MAIZE CROPS 🌽🌽 can be used for after it might have been harvested. The main Maize plants can be used to feed animals as it is shown in the pictures.

First and foremost, you need to double check if your rabbit will be willingly to feed on them. You will always see the traces at first even with the first approach. If you give them for some few hours.

You may also grow your rabbit the way you want but it is great when you manage them and feed them with all kinds of green vegetative plants. To Ensure good growth.

The maize plant can be fed to Rabbit when it not too dry. They will consume it rightly without any negative effect.
