Hello Hivers ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’˜,

New season with new approach likewise with new Farm technique. There is always so much question to be asked when it comes to agriculture and some kind of related profession or career. There is one of the question that came to me in my discord channel which was this why was it necessary to keep a former leftover plant on a piece of agricultural Farmland?. This question I know that may also be bothering so many people out there. but there is always a solution to every problem one way or the other and that is why we need to keep asking questions so that when the time comes that will always be an answer to it. Regarding to this question I would like to say and open up officially that I have some practical ways by which I always follow and it has been part of my own farm lifestyle.

This Farm lifestyle is always active in the sense that whenever I cultivate any type of crop be it drink vegetable or Maize crop, or cassava plant, or potato plant or tomato plant. There is always some of them that are extraordinary in the sense that even when they grow up they always show all the crop enhancement which will bring forth more production. Likewise in the case of eggplant I always choose wisely those ones that I will retain after the farming season expires. What I do is that I always once in a while go to them individually and apply a lot of water so that they will not grow dead finally. But on the other hand I also trim them if they are going otherwise.

When I got a visitor sometimes ago the visitor asked me that why do I return this crops even when they are not bringing out leaves. I smiled and I also replied they will grow back when the time comes. Now it is time for the growth. When they have a very thorough water application that sink deeply into them into the root they will start sprouting out new leaves as shown in the pictures. They are all dead left over eggplant parent plant. But now they are up. Ready for new season. So I captured some few moments to show us how the already dried branches looks like before they come back to life.

  • At first this was how they look when they were all dried up. at the moment I removed a lot of them because they were scantly scattered and they were also occupying a lot of space. In which I know that when the time comes I'm going to offer them new crop production into the agricultural Farmland.

They were all dead branches for almost 3 to 5 months ago. But now they are all alive. What I want to bring out in this is that as individual farmer you need to choose wisely your crop production. After you might have harvested your all produce you need to retain some portion of parent plant. This parent plant will germinate when it raining season or when you apply a lot of water to it.

I was pointing to all this branches to show you that they were all dried. Not totally dried but with the look of things and with my own observation because throughout the dry season there was no too much addition of water, but yet it's brought out nearly

  • Whenever you choose wisely you always see the positive end this way. I started this method of cultivating crop sometimes 2 to 3 years ago when I noticed that some crops such as the eggplant can't survive the dry season even without any drop of water then regain itself back during the rain season.
