Things that made me laugh at myself whenever I remember😊😂

One funny experience that always makes me laugh at myself happened the very first time my friend took me to the bank to save money. When we got to the entrance, the security man directed my friend to go in, and when it was my turn, he also signaled me to enter. The funny part was that I just stood there like a statue. I didn’t know the door was a push door. I kept standing there until I heard the automatic voice saying, “Please push the door.” Before I could even react properly, the security sent me away. Everyone around started staring at me, including my friend. When my friend later came out, the security man asked him, “Did you see this local boy?” Anytime I remember that scene, I can’t help but laugh at myself.

Another incident that still makes me laugh happened back in secondary school during a C.A test. While we were writing, one of my classmates kept disturbing me for answers. When I turned back to help him, the invigilator caught me immediately and wrote –20 marks boldly on my script. I was already confused about what I was writing, so seeing that minus made me very scared. While I was still thinking of what to do, one of my friends whispered that I should circle the –20 and tear it off. Without thinking twice, I did exactly that and quickly submitted my script. In fact, I was the first person to submit.

The funniest part came later. The invigilators told everyone not to leave after the test. While we were all waiting, I overheard them discussing how they wanted to help “the boy they deducted marks from.” In my heart, I was praying they wouldn’t help him. Suddenly, they asked who the boy was, and before I could even speak, the whole class shouted my name. When they checked my script and noticed that the –20 mark was missing, that day they beat me seriously. Anytime I remember that scene, I just laugh at myself.
