Reading the Holy Bible before exposing ourselves to satanic writings helps ground our understanding and prevents confusion about the messages such books may attempt to convey. When we are firmly rooted in God’s word, we are better equipped to discern truth from deception.

Beyond this, God has given every human being a gift known as free will. This means we have the ability to make choices and decide how we live our lives. Free will is not an accident; it is a deliberate power granted by God so that obedience and righteousness come from choice, not force.

However, when our free will begins to oppose the will of God, it is a sign that we are no longer walking in the right path. Influences such as satanic teachings can distort our thinking and gradually shift our desires away from God’s purpose for us. When this happens, our choices may begin to reflect the will of the devil rather than the will of God, especially when such influences are continually studied or embraced.

It is important to remember that God’s will is always for our good. Scripture makes this clear. For example, Ephesians 6:2 teaches us to “Honour your father and mother,” noting that it is the first commandment with a promise attached. This instruction highlights God’s desire for order, respect, and blessing within families.

Obeying our parents is one of the ways we align our will with God’s will, even when other teachings or beliefs may encourage rebellion or disobedience. Choosing to remain in agreement with God’s will, as taught by Bro. Eli is essential. When our will moves in harmony with God’s purpose, it positively shapes our lives and determines a better destiny for us.
