Emenike The King Of Akaka

Once upon a time, there was a village called Akaka and in this village there was an annual festival they used to do and the name of the festival is called “arugula” and they used to worship these gods, sometimes goats, even sometimes with new born babies.

There was a king in this village called “Emenike” . People in the village of Akaka love this king so much because he was also a nice person to the villagers.

chiefs of Akaka village came to the place to inform the king that the arugula festival is around the corner and that they should be prepared for the new born baby to worship the arugula, because they know that the King 's wife is pregnant.

On the second day the arugula the River Goddess appeared to King Emenike and told him to Take his pregnant wife out of this village or else you lose both the baby and your wife.

The River Goddess disappeared after she had given the King the instruction. And immediately he called his pregnant wife into his chamber.

Oluoma you will be leaving the village tomorrow night. The King said to his pregnant wife. Why my King? The pregnant wife asked. It's for your safety and that of the baby. I just don't want anyone to harm you and don't let anyone know that you are leaving. You will return back when you give birth to the child. The King said.

Oluoma didn't want to argue with her husband, she knows that her husband only wants the best for her.

The next day in the night the King instructed his trusted guard Arinze to take Queen Oluoma to her maternal side in Ekeudi Village. That way her maternal family will take care of her until she gives birth.

They secretly left the palace that night without the knowledge of any other person.

Queen Oluoma arrived at her maternal village in Ekeudi Village and her family welcomed her well. They were super excited to see her.

It's been three months since Queen Oluoma went to stay with her maternal family. Arinze sent the King a message that the Queen is doing alright.

One evening the Queen was taking her bath in the bathroom when she heard footsteps of someone outside.

She had to stop pouring the water on her body. Who is that? Queen Oluoma asked. Arinze is that you? Queen Oluoma asked. But the person didn't reply.

Then she concluded that it must be the wind, so she decided to continue bathing.

She started bathing again. And immediately someone wanted to be bagged into the bathroom with a knife. As the person was about to enter. He was immediately stopped by Arinze.

Arinze collected the knife from the assassin and knocked him out.

Queen Oluoma immediately heard the person scream before passing out.

She immediately tied her wrapper and came out of the bathroom.

What happened? Queen Oluoma asked Arinze. I think he is an assassin. Arinze said.

Who sent him? Queen Oluoma asked Arinze.

Two months later Arinze found out that is one of the king chiefs that wanted to kill , and Arinze informed the king about the incident, the next morning the king sent his guards to arrest the Chief.

And when the guards and chief arrive to palace, the king asked the Chief that why did he want to kill his wife, and he said that he know that it was a male child the queen carry, and he said he know the male child will be the next king of Akaka village, and he said that's why he want to kill her. And also said that he know that king keep his wife away from arugula and king was very angry and he commanded his guards to put the chief in the prison

Two months later the queen gave birth to a male child and everyone was so happy for her.
