La flor del edificio / The flower of the building

Entre una grieta pequeña,
de una edificación nueva,
creció una flor bella,
amarilla y de gran belleza,
pero que ahí no se sentía contenta.

Un ave la ve desde lejos
y se acerca al edificio nuevo,
quiere ver que es eso,
amarillo y de brillo intenso
y descubre una flor que creció entre el cemento.

Between a small crack,
in a new building,
a beautiful flower grew,
yellow and very beautiful,
but it did not feel happy there.

A bird sees it from afar
and approaches the new building,
wanting to see what it is,
yellow and intensely bright,
and discovers a flower that grew between the cement.

El ave sabe que ahí no sobrevivirá,
ni siquiera agua recibirá,
por eso con valentía de más,
trepa la pared con afán
hasta que llega donde la flor está.

La toma con una de sus alas
y muy despacio con ella baja,
aquella flor es pesada,
pero el ave no la deja caer por nada,
ella quiere salvarla.

The bird knows it won't survive there,
it won't even get any water,
so with extraordinary courage,
it climbs the wall eagerly
until it reaches the flower.

It picks it up with one of its wings
and slowly descends with it.
The flower is heavy,
but the bird won't let it fall for anything,
it wants to save it.

Cuando está sobre el pavimento,
la flor se va a buscar un hogar nuevo,
este lugar no es bueno,
ella necesita un mejor terreno
para sobrevivir en el mundo inmenso.

Llega hasta un bello jardín
y se posa sobre el césped feliz,
un hogar encontró aquí,
gracias a un ave que le ayudo sin nada pedir,
solo porque la empatia existe aquí.

When it is on the pavement,
the flower goes looking for a new home,
this place is no good,
it needs better soil
to survive in this vast world.

It reaches a beautiful garden
and settles happily on the grass,
it has found a home here,
thanks to a bird that helped it without asking for anything in return,
just because empathy exists here.
