Hello dear readers! Today we're going to talk a little about the blue whale, the largest animal in the world.
Blue whales, or Balaenoptera musculus by their scientific name, are a species of ocean-dwelling mammals that belong to the order Cetacea, and are currently the largest animals on Earth.
With a length of nearly 30 meters and a weight of over 180 tons, they surpass any existing animal.
Of course, other whales come close in size, such as the fin whale, which can reach up to 27 meters in length and weigh just under 100 tons.
What do you think of this incredible fact about blue whales?
