Back to Sharing: My Sister's Paper House Activity

Hola, dear hivers!!!
It's been a long time since I published here, due to some reasons and being busy. There have been so many happenings recently, but thankfully I now have the chance to share one of my duties today. This duty was a bit tiring but enjoyable at the same time. So , let's dive in!

Limited face-to-face classes have already started in different schools—there are a lot of changes in school rules due to the effect of the earthquake. Some classes are only half-day, and for my daycare's sibling schedule , sessions are now just 1 hour long, unlike the last few months when they used to be 2 hours a day.
Recently, they had an activity that involved drawing a house and pasting construction paper on it to make it colorful. Since it was a bit hard for the students, the guardians started guiding them. I'm so glad my neighbor drew a house for my sister , as I was out at that time. Afterwards, I just prepared the needed materials such as construction paper, scissors, and glue.

The strategy I applied was to measure the size of each part of the house . First, I started with the roof—I placed the construction paper, and tried folding it until I got the right measurement, I even used a pencil to mark the area I needed to cut. Next, I covered the whole lower part of the house and only cut the necessary sections for other components. Then, I used another piece of construction paper for the window, door, and furniture. After everything was cut out, my sister helped me paste the pieces since she also loves doing it. As we finished, she happily went to her teacher and gave the activity.

Since that was already recess time, I bought a snack for her and took a picture of myself. I wasn't satisfied with my first take because I looked at the camera and seemed so haggard, that's why I took another one and just covered my face—HAHAHA, is it weird?
