Hey, Hive friends. I am writing to give you an update on my life, as I miss interacting in this beautiful ecosystem. So, I will turn back the clock to tell you a little about what has been going on with me since mid-2025, when I started to become absent from this space.

Hola amigos hive, escribo para actualizar de mi vida, ya que extraño la interacción en este lindo ecosistema. Así que le daré vuelta al reloj para contar un tanto de lo que ha sido de mí desde mediados del 2025, cuando me fui ausentando de este espacio.

Thankfully, it's not due to anything negative; I just had a change of pace in my daily life. It's because of a great opportunity that came up in April last year: I completed a job interview, they gave me the green light, and with that, I got my first remote job.

Gracias a Dios no se debe a nada negativo, tuve un cambio de ritmo en mi día a día. se debe a una gran oportunidad que se presentó en abril del año pasado: completé una entrevista de trabajo, me dieron el buen visto y con ello conseguí mi primer trabajo remoto.

I didn't expect it, but I did long for it. Right in March, on my birthday, as I blew out the candles, I made a wish to get a job, and in April that wish came true. I don't tend to believe in manifestations, but this event made me doubt myself.

No me lo esperaba, pero sí que lo añoraba. Justo en marzo, el día de mi cumpleaños al soplar las velas pedí conseguir un empleo y en abril se materializa ese anhelo. No tiendo a creer en manifestaciones, pero este evento me hizo dudar.

Thanks to platforms such as Hive, YouTube, and TikTok, I was able to develop my content creation skills. Although I hardly ever uploaded videos here, behind my attempts to do so and in drafts that never saw the light of day, there were downloads of video apps and tutorials that helped me gain experience and intellectual resources to get a job.

Gracias a plataformas como Hive, yt o tiktok pude ir desarrollando habilidad para la creación de contenido, aunque casi nunca subí videos aquí, detrás de mi intento de hacerlo y en borradores que nunca vieron la luz, hubo descargas de apps de videos y tutoriales que me ayudaron a tener experiencia y con esos recursos intelectuales para lograr conseguir un puesto de trabajo.

The decision to write a post on any given day helped me confirm that I am capable of learning online and, for now, dedicating myself to it.

La decisión de hacer un post un día cualquiera me sirvió para afirmar: sí estoy capacitada para aprender de forma online y por ahora dedicarme a ello.

For now, I like what I do, as it focuses on creating audiovisual content focused on e-learning for an international business school.

Por ahora me gusta lo que hago, ya que está enfocado en la creación de contenido audiovisual enfocado en E-learning para una escuela de negocios internacional.

A little bit about my day-to-day life working from home

Working 100% remotely has been quite an experience. There are many advantages, such as specific requirements, zero commuting costs, and the opportunity to have flexible hours, although I need to work on the latter to take advantage of the hours when I am most productive. This is difficult for me to achieve since I am very much a night owl.

Trabajar 100% remoto ha sido toda una experiencia, las ventajas que se tienen son muchas, exigencias puntuales, cero gastos en desplazamiento y oportunidad de flexibilizar el horario, aunque esto último necesito trabajarlo para aprovechar las horas de mayor productividad, lograrlo se me hace difícil ya que soy muy nocturna.
This routine requires organization, and for a restless mind like mine, the monotony combined with the lack of human interaction makes me want to break with the sense of order from time to time. I have managed this situation well so far.

Esta rutina demanda organización y para una cabecita inquieta como la mía, la monotonía sumada a la poca interacción humana, me hace querer romper con la sensación de orden de vez en cuando, he manejado bien esa situación hasta ahora.

On the other hand, Venezuela is an unpredictable country. When there are hours without power, the laptop runs out of battery due to the lack of electricity, and another day you have to queue for gasoline or gas... When this is the situation, stress sets in. I have tried to take it easy.

Por otro lado, Venezuela es un país impredecible, ante horas sin luz, la laptop se descarga por la falta de electricidad, otro día se requiere estar en la fila para el servicio de gasolina o el gas...Cuando es este el panorama el estrés aparece. Lo he intentado llevar con calma.

Even so, overall I've had a good time, the team is very friendly, communication is excellent, and I felt included from the very first minute I started working.

Aun así, en general la he pasado bien, el equipo de trabajo es muy amable, la comunicación es óptima y desde el primer minuto trabajando me sentí integrada.

Because of the type of content I create, I learn something new every day, so I never get bored, which is great.

Por el tipo de contenido que hago aprendo un dato nuevo cada dia por lo que no me aburro del todo y eso es genial.

Usually after work, I want to detox from screens and virtual spaces, which is why I've been missing. However, I miss posting photos and continuing to decorate my little corner here on Hive, so maybe I'll show up more often.

Por lo general después de la jornada quiero hacer una desintoxicación de pantallas o de espacios virtuales, y por ello he estado desaparecida. Sin embargo, extraño traer fotos y seguir adornando mi pequeño rincon aqui en hive, asi que quizá aparezca mas a menudo.
