My Actifit Report Card: October 29 2025

Hey Actifitters,

Another very nice and sunny day yesterday, I really like these fall sunny days. In spite of having a lot to do before my trip, it was impossible to resist spending time in the yard with all the fall colors.

Even Le Chat decided it was an outdoor kind of day.

I wasn't exactly sure we had enough time for the bigger forest, so we started our walk near the small forest.

It was a good opportunity for Kaia and Le Chat to hang out, it hasn't happen very often recently for some reason (and that reason is Le Chat's laziness!!)

I decided we'd go to the bigger forest anyways, so Kaia could have one last long walk before staying at her 'pet resort'.

It's basically peak colors right now, almost a shame to travel now!

Kaia didn't know yet it was her last forest walk for at least a week, but she had fun like she knew.

At this point, we were already way behind schedule, but who cares, let's enjoy the colors a little longer!

Eventually Kaia did lead us out and we made it back home with a lot of time to catch up.

As usual, when I dropped Kaia at the pet resort, it was kind of heart breaking. She starts shaking like a leaf as soon as she recognizes the parking lot. She also knows that even though they call themselves a pet resort, she will be stuck in a cage most of the time (they are decent size cage at least). Anyways, I didn't have any other choice this time.
As for me, I spent the rest of the day and night preparing for my trip and cleaning the house. As usual, the very last minute preparation was a bit intense, and for sure sleepless, but it is done and I'm writing this from the plane. Next report will be from California!
