Giving her own comfort

Manesha is a girl with dreams and ambitions in her eyes. She was six years old when her parents came to Pakistan to spend their vacations in her grandparents' home. Her grandmother and father taught her many things, but Manesha never knew this vacation was going to change her whole life. Manesha's mother was eight months pregnant when she came to Pakistan; she was here to deliver a baby.
Aleena Manesha’s mother used to love Manesha. They lived in America and had a business there. They belonged to a liberal family. Manesha was an intelligent girl who loved drawing at the age of six. She thinks drawing is the best way to convey your message without words. Manesha once created a drawing for her father and gifted it to him when they were staying in Pakistan. After some time she made the same drawing for her mother and it was all done she was very happy that she was going to give it to her mother but as she entered her mother’s room the smile faded and tears started coming out of her eyes. She was just six she never thought this drawing was going to give her whole life trauma she heard from her mother’s room was the thing she was never going to forget she never thought her parents were going to do this with her.
She heard Aleena telling her mother “She can not manage two kids at the same time with business so she is going to America along with one kid and Manesha will stay here with her grandparents”. She just heard these words she had become a quiet girl from a passionate girl. After some time, she will have a brother, and her parents take her brother back to America and decide to leave her with his grandparents forever.
Everyone in the family considered her very intelligent, but after she was admitted to school, her downfall started. She was a very weak student at first, but when she was in third grade, she failed. Unfortunately, she started to get attached to her grandfather and started accepting him, but during this period, her parents decided to expand their business and bring it to Pakistan, and they now live in Pakistan. She was not happy about this at all. She did not want to leave her grandparents' house, but because of her parents' request, she left her grandparents' house without saying anything or complaining and went to her parents' house.
Time passed like this, but it also proved wrong for her that everything gets better with time. Her parents were always busy with themselves. They never cared about Manesha and she became further away from them daily. She was 23 years old when she got a degree in filmmaking, but since childhood, she only had an inferiority complex feeling in her mind. That is why she was also not getting any job in her life. Everyone said that this degree was not suitable for her. After suffering so much in her life, a friend of hers gave Manesha the idea of taking therapy and she thought why not go to a therapist because she is just tired of everything around her now she is also unable to sleep at night time.
On the first day when she went to the therapist, he was a young man named Doctor Sikandar Roy. At the first meeting, Manisha hesitates to tell her side story she tells him the story by naming it as “her friend's story”.
“I am tense about my friend who is jobless due to her personality she lacks self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-trust, and everyone thinks she is not suitable for what she actually does for her degree and it’s impossible for her to find the job,” said Manesha.
After saying so much, Manisha fell silent and started twisting her fingers. The doctor was observing her actions. Silence fell in the atmosphere for a while. The doctors understood that this was not her friend's story but Manisha's own, but they continued the conversation to make her comfortable in this environment and started giving her suggestions to give to her friend. Slowly, she started to become frank with the doctor. The doctor started telling her the solutions to her problems. For this, he used to tell her many stories. She herself would extract the hidden meanings from the stories. One day, Manisha was very sad.
When she came to the doctor, tears were flowing from her eyes. “Manisha has tears as big as a crocodile in her eyes,” said Doctor Roy to her maid while he was holding a laptop and typing something on it.
Maid asks “Why are you crying manisha bibi”
Manisha, sitting on the sofa frankly, said, "I am in a very bad mood today and no one should talk to me today." She was talking to the mai, but staring at the doctor. Meanwhile, one of the doctor's precious things on the table fell and broke. Manisha was scared to see this, but the doctor said, "I know how to fix broken things and broken people, so don't worry." The doctor put his laptop aside and sat down on the other couch next to Manisha and asked her what happened.
“My mother wants to get me married but I know that I am unable to like anything for the long period. I feel like I won't be able to handle marriage for long. Just as I lose interest in things, if I lose interest in my husband at home, my married life will also deteriorate along with my life” said Manisha.
"There is just this one problem and you were crying so much about it. I think we definitely get married because after marriage, a person's behavior changes alot and he starts accepting” Doctor replied.
“But I don't want my parents to be my decision-makers because they have made the wrong decisions for me since childhood” said manisha
“Look, Mansha, I understand you, but I think you should have given your parents a second chance so that they could do something better for you. You should have respected them once, given them love and seen if they wouldn't love you back. And if that doesn't happen, then do whatever your heart desires, but at least give them a chance” doctor roy replied.
“Okay i will “ she leaves doctor home by saying this.
From that day on, Manisha fulfilled the original purpose of living in her house, including her younger brother whom she hate the most started relating to everyone. Manihsa became the owner of a million jokes. She realized that she had made her parents feel guilty that they had left their daughter behind, but now everything is fine. With time, Manisha became very friendly with the members of her family. Her parents were very happy to see her changing and this is how her life took a turn. She was very happy. Now there was no sadness in her life, nor did she need a therapist. It was the last day of her therapy when she went to the doctor roy.
Manisha was at the door of the doctor's house when he saw Manisha. Manisha said thank you to the doctor in a loud voice and entered the house through the door with a smile. She said, "Doctor, if it weren't for you, I would never have been able to make my life comfortable and safe for myself. You have helped me a lot in changing my life. I will never forget you in my life."
In response, the doctor said that you will also be my most capable student. After that, both of them looked at each other silently and after a while, they said goodbye to each other. Manisha was talking to herself on the way and saying that I have now achieved the real purpose of my life. There was a smile on her face but also tears in her eyes.
