Hello friends! Today I want to tell you about my experience at the International Book Fair in my province, Santiago de Cuba.

First, let me tell you that I'm a Philology student at the Universidad de Oriente, and during the fair, they had us do a sort of internship at the book fair activities. I participated as a writer, book presenter, and explorer. I'll briefly share my experiences with you, and I repeat, briefly, because I'm one of those people who likes to write and narrate directly and forcefully, without so many detours or unnecessary words. In the current historical context, people don't like to read much, so creating short texts helps these people read something that contributes to their culture in a concise and compelling way. 😊

First, I want to tell you that the fair was very intense from a cultural perspective; there were many gatherings and book presentations. We had the opportunity to meet famous writers, both Cuban and foreign.

Another important thing to highlight is that classic books were published, which were sold at affordable prices.

I spent my money buying books 😞
Although having books is important to me, I live in Cuba and the economy is terrible. I spent everything I had buying books. Tomorrow, university starts, and I don't have money for transportation. I hope with this post you can help me raise money for transportation so I can get to university and continue buying books.

I worked at the "José Soler Puig" book promotion center as a writer.

Hola amigos!!, Hoy quiero contarles mi experiencia en la Feria internacional del libro en mi provincia, Santiago de Cuba.

Primeramente decirles que estudio la carrera de Filología en la Universidad de Oriente, y en este tiempo de feria nos pusieron a hacer una especie de práctica en laa actividades de la feria del libro, yo participé como redactor, presentador de libros y explorador. Brevemente les comparto mis experiencias, y reitero en lo de breve, pues soy de esos que les gusta escribir y narrar de manera directa y contundente, sin tantos rodeos ni palabras innecesarias. En el contexto histórico que vive la humanidad a las personas no les gusta leer mucho, entonces, crear textos breves contribuye a que estas personas puedan aunque sea leer algo que les aporte cultura de una manera breve y contundente.😊

                                   *Recorriendo la feria*

Primeramente quiero contarles que la feria fue muy intensa desde el punto de vista cultural, habían muchas peñas y presentaciones de libros. Tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer a escritores famosos, cubanos y extranjeros

Otra cosa importante para destacar es que se publicaron libros clásicos, los cuales se vendieron a precios módicos.

Gasté mi dinero comprando libros 😞
Aunque tener libros para mi es algo importante, vivo en Cuba y la economía es pésima, todo lo que tenía lo gasté comprando libros, mañana comienza la Universidad y no tengo dinero para coger transporte. Espero que con esta publicación ustedes me puedan ayudar a recaudar dinero para mi transporte para ir a la universidad y seguir comprando libros.
