Sometimes life doesn't ask if you're ready... it just puts you in front of what you need.

About three months ago, Alyson arrived at my building. She didn't show up just anywhere, she came right to my door, as if she knew exactly where she needed to go. From that moment on, something started to happen.

My aunt and I started feeding her, and before we knew it, she started staying. Day after day, she won over her space... and my heart. And let's be honest, how could I not, when she's such a beautiful cat?

At first, I wasn't entirely convinced about adopting her. I already have a cat and a dog at home that demand a lot of attention, time, and affection. I felt that maybe it wasn't the right time. But this little one's cuteness, coupled with the support and words of some friends and family members, finally pushed me to make the decision.

If I was going to adopt her, I knew that the first step was to have her spayed. That meant more specific care and, above all, that she would start sleeping indoors.

Her first night was last Saturday. She stayed with me because they would come to pick her up early the next morning for the spaying procedure. The place I chose was recommended to me by a very good friend, and honestly, it was a great decision. They took care of everything: they came to my house, picked up Alyson, performed the procedure, and then brought her back. I didn't have to worry about transporting her, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.

Even so, I won't lie: I was very nervous. Although I hadn't been with her for long, I was already deeply attached to her. I was worried about the procedure, her age, the fact that she was so small... I thought it might be traumatic for her. During the day, I asked several times how everything was going, until finally the message I had been waiting for arrived: everything had gone well and they were on their way to bring her back.

When she arrived, she was quite alert. I thought the anesthesia would affect her much more, but Alyson turned out to be stronger and more resilient than I imagined. Her recovery has been very positive. She spends the day glued to me, seeking affection, company, and games. Her surgery is in perfect condition, and seeing her like this, confident and calm, confirms that I made the right decision.

Welcome to my home and my life, Alyson. Thank you for arriving unannounced and staying forever.
