Esta semana, en HIVE Open Mic Week 300, el tema es muy especial, ya que se nos ha invitado a marcar esta edición presentando canciones originales. Me pareció una iniciativa muy bonita y una excelente oportunidad para compartir algo genuino.
This week, at HIVE Open Mic Week 300, the theme is very special, as we’ve been invited to mark this edition by presenting original songs. I found it to be a very beautiful initiative and an excellent opportunity to share something genuine.
Para esta ocasión he compuesto una canción original titulada “My Soul Is Yearning For You”. Es una canción que nace del anhelo del alma, de ese deseo profundo del corazón que busca al Señor. La melodía comenzó a sonar en mi mente de manera casi espontánea, como si simplemente hubiera llegado, y poco a poco intenté darle forma.
For this occasion, I composed an original song titled “My Soul Is Yearning For You.” It’s a song born from the longing of the soul, from that deep desire of the heart that seeks the Lord. The melody began to ring in my mind almost spontaneously, as if it simply arrived, and little by little I tried to shape it
Al principio solo tenía el coro, pero sentí la necesidad de completar la canción añadiendo un verso que expresara mejor ese anhelo interior. Así que me senté a trabajar en ello, dejando que las palabras acompañaran lo que la melodía ya expresaba.
At first, I only had the chorus, but I felt the need to complete the song by adding a verse that could better express that inner longing. So I sat down to work on it, letting the words follow what the melody was already expressing.
Estoy grabando esto desde Tucumán, lejos de mi equipo habitual y sin mi propia guitarra, así que tuve que pedir una prestada. Aun así, lo comparto con sencillez y con la esperanza de que lo disfruten y les hable al corazón. Gracias por escuchar.
I’m recording this from Tucumán, away from my usual equipment and without my own guitar, so I had to borrow one. Even so, I share it simply, with the hope that you enjoy it and that it speaks to your heart. Thank you for listening.
