Welcoming Her Womanhood: Althea’s Debut

Hello everyone, this is @lorene08 back again with another exciting blog to share!!

This is actually my first time this year to attend a debut(my last experience was during elementary days) and I am so excited for it. Well, I was having a hard time looking for bottoms to match my pink and black top(Althea's theme is actually pink since it's her favorite color😍) but yeah after an hour of looking, I finally got the match for it.

Me,Ashley and Jacob arrived first in the debutante’s house(first three out of the five friend guests😋) we didn't go inside yet since we felt a little bit shy to Althea's parents and family HAHAHAHA lol! We just had a little bit chit chat there like joking and also taking .5 pictures.

After a while, Eya and then lastly, Shray then finally arrived. Then we didn't wait that long since the celebration will start at 6 pm(it actually start at 6:32). She first have her solo pictorial then her OG cof and then me and Jacob's turn to have a picture with her. She also did a pictorial with her loving parents, they look so cute.

The short event started, it started with a short message from his father(they actually look cute, no one cried but yeah it touches my heart a bit), followed by a message from one of her friend which is Shray(me and Jacob actually told Althea's cousin that Shray will give a short message/speech to Althea😋) followed by a prayer then lastly, it's time for us to sing a happy birthday to her and of course to make a wish before blowing the candle.

The main event-the eating of foods then started! They actually had enough food for the guests, but they do have a lechon and then they also have desserts like cupcake,maja and etc.

When all of us were done eating, one of Althea's tita suggested for us to sing, well me and Jacob was super excited but we were so shy to sing so Shray took the chance to sing first. When we were no longer shy to sing, it became chaotic—for real! We were singing our lungs out, not even caring if we sounded out of tune. Even I, who was shy at first because I thought my voice might be judged, ended up singing with so much feeling. My favorite part was when we all sang a song from Air Supply. We really enjoyed it, especially the birthday girl.

Since we sang too much and our energy got drained from all the singing session, we decided or let's just say, Jacob suggested that we should try and have a pictorial at the beach,since Althea's house is near to a beach. Even though I was wearing a high heels, I still manage to walk and slayed the pictorial. Then after it, since it's already late and our families are looking for us, we decided to go home.

The experience was really nice, and I will forever treasure this memory! I’m also glad that we were able to make the debutante’s birthday memorable and enjoyable for her. Thank you, Althea and family, for inviting us. Thanks also for the food you let us bring home and for giving us a ride back to our houses. That’s all, everyone!
