Jarrah's Recognition Day

Hello everyone! This is @lorene08, sharing a short but very meaningful day for Jarrah as she finished her preschool journey.
Last April 25, 2025, my mom asked me to go with her and Jarrah because it would only be the two of them. So, I went ahead early. I came at 8 AM sharp but could not see them, so I assumed they were not ready yet. At around 10 AM, Mama and Jarrah arrived.
Jarrah was so cute and beautiful at the same time! She was dressed in a glittery, shiny pink dress with a cute white bag.
The ceremony of recognition and moving up began at 11 AM. We just waited for Jarrah's name. Once that she was called, we decided to leave because it was near lunchtime and we were already hungry.
Before we went to Jollibee, my mom told me that we will pass by Carl Joy first. It's a small shop that sells school materials, decorations, medals, sashes, and gift items ideal for graduates. Mama purchased Jarrah a crown, a coloring book, and a coloring pencil set.
(While waiting outside Carl Joy, I took a quick photo of a beautiful tree that caught my eye.)
We then took a tricycle towards Jollibee. Mama bought two pieces of chicken and a burger steak for Jarrah because she doesn't like eating chicken. She also ordered an ice cream sundae for me and French fries for Jarrah. While waiting for the food, Mama opened the coloring pencils and handed over the coloring book to Jarrah. I admired my little sister as she was coloring the Barbie pictures in the book—though a bit messy, she look so adorable. After a while, I helped her color, and she kept on telling me that I was doing a great job(cutiee HAHAHAHAHA).
When we received the food, we began eating immediately, we were extremely hungry. After we finished eating, Jarrah went back to coloring, and I helped her again.
After our food has digested (and resting a bit), we decided to go home because it was actually really hot outside. And that's how our ordinary but extraordinary "mother and two daughters" day happened.
Hope you enjoyed reading this short blog, everyone! See you next time in my next blogs!! 🤍
P.S. My little sister is so fluent in English that she won’t talk to you unless you speak English too. My brain was so exhausted the whole day, I had to speak in English nonstop, and it was draining! 😆😆
