An Easy Wax Crayon Drawing For Beginners (Sunset)

Hello Dear Hivers!Just want to share one of my hobbies when I'm a bit bored -- which is doing an artwork using crayons.
Yeah you've heard it right the medium used in creating a drawing is only a wax crayon.I'm gonna show you my drawing and it's all about "Sunset".

Aside from I love cooking I also love to draw simple concepts of nature like this.

Here are the materials to be used in wax crayon Drawing of a sunset
1.crayons of different colors such as Orange,yellow,blue and red and a 2.piece of cotton
3.short bond paper

INSTRUCTIONS
1.Prepare the bond paper.For me I used short bond paper because thats only available you can have a preferred size depending upon you.

2.Lie in a flat surface for you to feel comfortable with while drawing the sunset.
3.Start to do the initial drawing.
Trace it using the desired colors of crayons.(Layout first as to where you gonna placed your sun,and the surrounding colors of it,)

Start coloring the upper side which is yellow.Darkened this side.

5.After coloring the upper side next to it sa lower portion the orange,red and blue background

So it's partially done.Half of it is finished.Continue coloring it until the whole bondpaper is fully covered with the colors.

Start to slowly layout the mountains,and the tree.

Darkened the design (the mountains and the coconut tree)
Blackened it.Slowly shading it to form the desired design.Slowly apply the black color to your drawing of mountain and tree. As color black will easily spread to another part of the drawing making it messy to look at.

When finished slightly different rub the cottons to the part where you're thickened you're design.

Finally slightly traced the other design to get the desired form.Use crayons in tracing the Sun..

Clean your work,you do finishing touches on it.And there you go.Its done.

My daughter find it also attracted to do this artwork.She also want to have a picture taken with the finished output.

I find this activity a distressing activity.I can put my feelings through drawing.Im glad my hobbies were being unlocked because of this community.
Hope you find joy in making an artwork.I am not professional in art I'm just a beginner in using this media(the crayons).But if you want to have it painted,yes you can also use that.
