Airplanes ✈️ above Boston USA 🇺🇸 ~ Belle Isle Marsh Reservation, plus bonus 😉

Hi all 👋🏻

Today I want to share with you some captures of airplanes in Boston, Massachusetts USA 🇺🇸 that I took while wandering though the marshlands next to the airport. This was during our #holidays/ #travels in New England.

The 12 Photographs I show you in this post are taken with my new Canon R5 with 24 - 105 mm lens on 7 October 2022.

The location I was standing you can find on Google maps here with the yellow star ⭐️:

It was in the Belle Isle Marsh Reservation.

While wandering around in the marshes and observing #plants and #wildlife… planes flew over all the time. And how would they not, this nature area is right next to the International airport of Boston. ✈️

So of course I had to take some shots of airplanes to check out what my new gear could do. 😎😊

Let’s have a look at what I captured:

The surroundings:

Than I started to focus on the airplane I heard coming over.

First a bit further away… here we see still many clouds ☁️

As time passes, the sky is clearing up… and I capture this orange airplane coming over rather low.

And… it’s gone again.

Next a bit later, I see a yellow plane coming over. This one is all shiny in the #sun and stands out against the blue. ✈️😎

I follow it and capture a few shots.

Wow that was close by… very cool 😎

And it’s gone again and approaching the #runway…

🦋 And here is the bonus part: ✈️😉

I did notice the following…

Maybe it is too small…

How cool 😎 is that? Loved seeing the #monarch butterfly 🦋
I tried to capture some more photographs of it, but it never came down or closer by… and was as fast gone as the plane was.
