Cycling Community weekly Milage Update - 11.94.24

Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!

This is post number 15 in the #cyclingcommunity I am posting a few more miles towards my goal of a "thousand miles for the year"! Due to the flat on the Black bike that I didn't fix till Sunday, all the miles are in the Green one I believe.

And so for the last seven days, I have had a few "cycling catastrophes".
So...
The rear tire went flat on the Black bike overnight and was flat in the a.m.!
So for this week there is "0" miles / Kilometers on the Black bike!

The Black bike:
This Monday I am at,
759.2 miles / 1221.81kilometers,
an increase of,
0.0 miles / 0.0 kilometers

Here's where it gets interesting!
I decided to just ride the Green bike and repair the back tire on the Black one over the weekend.
Well, I got in a few good 10 mile rides up and down the shore then...
"BAM" I got a flat while a bit over 5 miles / 8.04 kilometers away from home. I am glad it's the light one, I pushed all the way!
So... Here is the miles I did get before I got a flat on that bike,

The Green bike,
This Monday:
212.34 miles / 341.72 kilometers,
an increase of,
28.44 miles / 45.77 kilometers!

This is more than "double" what I was riding on this bikebabweek, and...
I like it!

So this puts me at,
28.44 miles / 45.77 kilometers (total) for the week. A fantastic week - for me, and really all in the Green one!

This puts the total at,
971.54 miles / 1563.54 kilometers

Which leaves 28.46 miles / 45.80 kilometers to go to reach my goal of a "thousand miles" before the end of the year!
So to get back to the other story...
Both bikes are repaired!
I would have gotten in some miles today, but....
We had 23mph winds and gusts to 35 mph, so I decided to take a break. Hoping to be out beating the pedals tomorrow!
