Unjected, the site that opened up in 2021 in order to be a dating/networking site for those who resisted "the poke." Now, I know how a lesbian hot broad feels. "No I don't want that thing in me, thanks." One could before sign up for free. I found there was nobody else using the site near me and it was much easier to find people who were "unvaccinated" in real life.

It was amazing, how many everyday people decided against getting it and at the same time it seems that Unjected is site where just about everyone is either European or American. It may be a useful tool for those who live in those areas for networking.

However, for a long time the home page had been broken and opening with deeplinked bookmarks I could use the site somewhat to see what is going on in the US and confirm the closest member of this site was thousands of kilometers away.

Rather than getting paid for using the site, like proofofbrain.blog, proofofbrain.io, peakd.com, or ecency.com, you would now have to pay to use the site.

Criticisms of Hive

Any blockchain based social media site is going to store nearly everything you post on it in a clear-text kind of way. For the case of Hive the only thing that is not public is the clear-text of encrypted memos.

So if you want to be private you should take a page out of @themarkymark 's own history and create an account and never attach any photos of yourself. Never attach your exact location and make sure you scrub any photos of meta data you upload. You become a brand new persona for the site and you lose all the network effects your real life identity affords you joining this way.

  • Your follower list is public
  • Your app permissions are public.
  • Your posts and comments are always public
  • Even your Hive blockchain transactions are public.

On the other hand, on other web2.0 sites this kind of stuff can go into a database and be hidden from public view, but some people are going to see it. Oh and there are no transactions because you don't get paid anything.

It seems that Twitter has started a trend of social media sites charging for use.
Twitter charges $8/month for the blue checkmark. Gab charges a fee for use of Gab permium charges $10/month. Unjected charges $69 for an initial cost and then $11.11/month after that. It also has a process you must go to declare yourself unvaccinated with an affidavit.

It wouldn't be bad for me to receive $8/month. We could verify identities with some KYC process and setup an API for proofofbrain.blog to use and open it up for other sites.

What other features would you like to see for
