Great way to end the week - sunshine, exercise, good food, ice-cream and of course ***coffee***

After gym, Kiara, my mom, my sister and I walked to a restaurant on the beach. It was a beautiful Saturday morning and a lovely way to spend the weekend - fin de semana or the end of the week as the Spanish say.

On the way there we stop for ice cream. My sister got a chocolate mint ice cream, whilst Kiara got a salted caramel ice cream.

Chocolate mint is not an easy flavour to find in ice-creams in Cyprus strangely. Not even the boxed frozen variety.

We walked down to the end of the street where the restaurant was. The restaurant is called Kalifi

It is right on the rocks overlooking the sea and a beach side has a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea and it’s very relaxing.

It almost feels like you are sitting on a boat.

We ordered some starters for the table consisting of pitta bread with some dip such as to tzatziki and hummus.

The food was excellent and afterwards we just soaked up some sun before heading home. We walked home which is great to get some exercise in as well as enjoy some of the sun and work off all that food that we ate.

The food was excellent and afterwards we just soaked up some sun before heading home.

Both the ice-cream place Napolea and Kalifi both serve coffee but we really love CoffeeBerry and stopped off for a take away at Zorbas on the way home.

***Fortunately Zorbas is on the way home for us.

No matter what - there is always room for a good coffee or cappuccino!!

We walked home which is great to get some exercise in as well as enjoy some of the sun and work off all that food that we ate.
