W piątek, 5 września, w Królestwie odbędzie się kolejne spotkanie Practical Philosophy Clubu. Tym razem dyskutowany temat to "równość". Spotkanie rozpocznie się o godzinie 17:30, a dyskusja będzie prowadzona w języku angielskim. Wstęp, jak zawsze, wolny.
On Friday, September 5 the next meeting of the Practical Philosophy Club will again take place at the Kingdom (Biskupia St. 18/1). This time, we the topic is "Equality". The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m., and the discussion will be held in English. Admission, as always, is free.
Is equality a natural human right, or a social construct? What does it mean?
Is inequality always unjust, or can it sometimes be morally acceptable?
Are quotas (gender, minority, class) a fair way to achieve equality, or do they undermine merit?
Is it just for some people to inherit vast wealth while others are born in poverty?
Does wealth inequality undermine democracy?
Should rich nations be obligated to support poorer ones for the sake of global equality?
Is technological access (internet, AI tools) now a basic requirement for equality?
Should everyone have the same right to good education and healthcare, even if it means the rich pay more?
