Here are a few songs that I can relate to on a Saturday as I make my way home from another Friday Night/Saturday Morning turnaround to pick up a pre-load that delivers Monday. I am writing this as I wait on a mandatory 10 hour rest break to complete. Yep 10 Fucking hours to sit here and have to wait. I sleep 5 to 6 hours max. These FMC$A hours of service rules are a fucking disgrace to common sense. They are deadly and kill many. It is all for revenue in the name of $afety.

With lyrics like these. That song really speaks to me as I wait here with no bathroom facility or restaurants nearby. Basically a hostage of bloated one size fits no one set of draconian rules. But I will wade thru this filth of humanity again today as I do every day. Distracted morons under qualified for the high speeds they are operating at while attempting a one handed thumb typing of a reply to a text that surely must be worth dying for?

More really great lyrics in that song. Three Great songs about life on the road. The Van Zant brothers father was a truck driver also.

My goal out here on the road every time I go out is...

TRY NOT 2 DIE !

Songs like these speak to me on a level that only those who have lived like a gypsy on the road can understand.

So I will leave you with this song. The greatest song ever written about life on the move.
